I went through all her albums/singles certifications tonight and my estimation is that she has sold around 255m - 260m records coming from approximately 150-155m albums,100-105m singles and like 1-2m DVDs. Some insane numbers she has pulled throughout the decades, especially as far as her singles are concerned.

 

I also did the same for Celine and my estimation is that she has sold around 265m records coming from around 195m albums, 60 - 65m singles, and 5m DVDs.

 

I remember checking their respective numbers 15 and 10 years ago, and back then Celine was outselling Mariah with a greater difference. Now they are extremely close. I will not be surprised if we see Mariah eventually outselling Celine. I attribute this to two factors:

1. Mariah is doing much better on Spotify and YT. Not sure how they perform on Apple Music and Amazon Music though.

2. Her team has kept her certifications in tact and up-to-date.

 

 

For the record AIFCIY has now sold over 23m copies worldwide!

Some other smash hits include We Belong Together (7m copies), Always Be My Baby (6.5m), Fantasy (6.5m), One Sweet Day (4.5m).

Also Hero, Without You, My All, Touch My Body and Obsessed have sold 3m+ copies each.
