we are all celine nuts....and we want other people to enjoy celine and get as much from her cd's that we get ourselves...and its always good to celebrate success....while it hasnt stiffed completely .the sales are poor in comparison to her other releases..it is very disappointing that more people will just never hear the cd....the general feedback here in ireland is we dont like her new sound ...and those who may like the new sound will never get to hear it or give it a chance.....because it is getting no support or promotion...maybe when the tour hits town???

I'm not surprised at all with the charts in my country.

1st - They don't promote her in any way

2nd - SonyBMG Brasil has a terrible page for her (the last album they have listed before Taking Chances is All the way... a decade of songs)

3rd - They release her material at least 3 months later than the rest of the world, the fact which makes us Brazilians buy CDs through international websites or so...

 

But anyway, in some countries she got platinums, which is really good, so that's what makes me feel less mad!

Let's face it, this album underperformed big time! (3 albums in a row now for Celine!) Should have, could have sold more in the US if only Sony marketed it properly. Problem is, Sony didn't know how to "sell" the new Celine-sound. Problem is, Sony seemed content and "again" relied on Celine's past successes and "again" completely oblivious that for a good record to sell, it still warrants a good marketing scheme.

 

And whatever happened to the follow-up single?
