Got to hear it too on Spotify. The only difference I hear is the fake audience cheer, and you know it's fake because they put it right at the start at the very first line, when we all know that the crowd did not start to cheer so loudly up until the third line when the screens finally revealed it was Celine singing.

Credits of the song also showed that apart from Scott Price, Denis Savage also co-produced the song.

 

Also, apart from Celine, her violinist Philippe Dunnigan is also credited as a performer on the song.

I'm also happy we finally get an official release but meh this is too late, the hype and euphoria over the Olympics and her performance have long died. Oh well.

 

Now her out-of-the-blue message to Kelly all makes sense... so she could bring up the Olympic performance again to "remind" the public about that performance ahead of today's release.

 

I still frequently get asked by people who know I’m a fan if I saw the performance and they say how incredible it was. When Celine’s name comes up, the Olympics is still fresh in people’s minds.

New music is now released on Thursdays so I would say they are finally releasing song and video on her official channels.

So I was able to listen to it on Australian youtube, they basically cleaned up the audio from audience noises to make it sound studio quality.

 

She also seems to have re-recorded the “Le ciel bleu” line which sounds raspier and a tiny bit hoarser compared to the olympics “live” version. Very random I have no idea why choose this lyric specifically and leave the rest, but I have listened to the original one over 100 times since her performance so I could easily tell any changes. Otherwise the whole track is identical and no other changes.

My family are in the filming and production business and they even said it was so amateur it was shocking and the organisers all knew days in advance of where she would be, the lighting and also about the rain that was expected… ( it was pissing down in early hours that she rehearsed for god sake and they learned nothing ) it wasn’t even windy… and they cancelled all those drones because of rain, not wind!

 

And the camera’s far away that could have been covered or used to shoot from behind glass and all they had to do was simply link the audio was never thought about despite various indoor studios facing her and covering this flawlessly, covering this and airing it to millions and all the millions they spent on the opening of this… it was simply shocking, lazy and a huge insult to Céline covering her return that night.

 

Rain and condensation on camera lenses… it’s 2024 not 1984!

 

They could have and should have done much much better!

There are other ways around this… this was one example as most of those studios with windows were covered and pushed way back using long lenses hd lenses., and there are other attachments and tricks that other people in the business use these days in these scenario… If you know, you know!

Υes, other than the delay in releasing this song, I cannot complain.

 

To me, her IG page is better than ever and I am very happy with how her comeback has been coordinated. For the first time in 12 years I feel she has a good management team.
