Interesting. I have IMDbPro and I decided to go to Céline's page and discovered she is now repped by Rogers & Cowan/PMK, a very large public relations firm. In particular, her agents also represent The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Smokey Robinson all the way to Coi Leray, The Jonas Brothers & H.E.R to name a few. Having said that, there's a possibility, her showing up to the Rolling Stones concert was also possibly business related since that might have been the first few times she's gotten to know her PR people.

 

With this, they're obviously anticipating this doc to make some traction and are crafting the narrative to her doc but also, anticipating what's next to come... possibly?

 

Hopefully this also means that Céline will get a bigger PR push with journalists with more creative story pitches, and more exciting opportunities to showcase her talents in better and innovative ways. If anything though, getting stronger representation might mean her name will start resonating even better in the media.

Hoda already subtly confirmed Vegas in her interview I with one tv station.

Does IMDBPro let you see who her legal representation is? I remember we found out the name at one point (it was a she, based in LA) but I just don't recall where and when I got that info. I think it was around the time of the ICM dispute (but I'm not referring to the firm who represented her in that particular case).

Jamie Young has been her lawyer for a loooong time. I’m pretty sure Celine thanked her in the liner notes for Unison. I also recall seeing an interview from the early 90s where Celine said that she met Prince through Jamie Young.

WOW!!!!!!!!! Guys there are now only 2 WEEKS LEFT until this documentary airs, yayyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

 

I am just AMAZED with everything she has gone through all these years with dealing with SPS - & the worst part was going through it WITHOUT A DIAGNOSIS!! Not knowing what this illness was for SEVERAL YEARS had to be heartbreaking for her!!

 

& with everything she is going through, I think we should just be PROUD & GRATEFUL for everything she has done in the past, & also BE GRATEFUL SHES STILL WITH US through it all!! I will support her no matter what happens next & I'm hoping & praying for the bestest of luck & happiness for her!! ❤

Well, the soundtrack is the “#1 new release” on Amazon, so seems like the interview with Hoda also helped sales for the soundtrack?

Yeah, as far as I know, streaming won’t really count towards it either, since the Celine tracks will be attributed to their parent albums, I believe. However, would be cool if this charted at #1 on Billboard’s soundtracks chart (or top 10). She currently only has one entry on that chart. The LA soundtrack peaked at #20.

Remember reading how so many thought it was Rene who was the open book because she became less so after his death. But now we know it was because hiding this horrible secret. Glad to see she feels good enough to share again how she feels and what going through. Can't imagine the weight that has lifted of her shoulders.
