You know, I’ve been thinking about this on my walks to work the last few days. If the symptoms started during the TCWT and kept getting worse, why enter into another Vegas residency in 2021. Prior to that, based on what we heard in the interviews she was already cancelling show due to the mystery illness. Makes one wonder why if it was getting worse would you sign another Vegas residency.

 

These are the kinds of questions I wish these interviewers would ask. I'm 1000% loving seeing her again, and/but that includes her innocent, artful way of not answering questions and taking over interviews with her own talking giggle.gif innocent.gif

It was nice to see Celine's dog (Charlie?) in one of the previews as well -- looking quite chunky. I wonder how old the dog is and if he's still with us

She needs a spasm-alert dog! You know, like those seizure-alert dogs. Maybe if they can be trained to sense seizures before they happen, perhaps they can do the same for spasms.

While I wish she got more follow up questions on certain things I think for this it's safe to assume, based on how desperate she is to get back to performing, she just didn't want to give it up. And she had no one to be like, "no, you need to stop NOW."

I fear what would have happened if the pandemic hadn't forced her to take a break and stop "being brave."

I might’ve thought about the Amazon shirt IF it didn’t say “Team Celine” on the front. I really can’t stand the team that much.

It should have been a hashtag on the shirt, but nonetheless it’s to say WE are on Celine’s Team…not referencing “Team Celine.”

They're showing I AM: Celine Dion here at the TIFF Bell Lightbox theatre in Toronto. Starting next week (Mon. June 17- Sun. June 23)

A week before the release at Amazon Prime. It's the only theatre here that's showing it. I already bought tickets for Tue. June 18 smile.png

Haven't seen all of it yet, but it feels like this home in Vegas is a lot smaller than that Florida mansion and that castle!

 

This feels way more cozy than the big mansions.

And I love how her interior is a mix of the modern Florida home, and the Louis XVI style furniture.

 

Also feels a bit like she sold her 2 homes and got stuck with a lot of furniture that needed to fit in a smaller space so let's throw it all together! :)

I think quite a few journalists must have already see this. Adrienne mentioned having seen it at a private screening in Toronto before heading to interview Celine in Vegas. I wonder when the press embargo is off - maybe this Mon, once the public screenings start?

I’m kinda shocked she hasn’t yet - I know she wants to. But if she doesn’t go it’s because it’s the colosseum. The only factor- cause there was some bad blood there in the end

I think tonight is Adele’s last weekend show until October and if rumours are true and Céline is scheduled back in vegas in the autumn, she’d be too busy then with rehearsals and press to attend then.

 

So it would be great for her to have a night out as she’s a fan and Adele’s obviously a huge fan too and the press would be all over it :)

Everything you said is true - and Adele went to Celine’s show ! If there’s anytime it would be tonight . If she does go I think Adele would totally pay tribute and say the queen is here ! Totally see that happening !!

I’d be so nervous if I were Adele and Celine Dion was watching me sing in HER colosseum. But I do hope it happens!
