Abodi2002 Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:14 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:14 PM Unfortunately, I don’t have Amazon prime so not sure how I’ll be able to watch. I think my mom‘s going to try to figure out how to get it, or maybe at least limited access to it so we can watch it. I’m not sure if Amazon prime is one of those things where you can get a free trial. Quote

June 21, 22, 23 is playing at a lot of theaters. 1 Quote

rfkavanagh Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:19 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:19 PM Could be, but I think it's sufficient to release it in a single theatre, and this is quite wide. On the other hand, I think it needs to run for a min of 7 days to be eligible (and this is running for 3 - unless they plan to keep it for 7 in a single theatre to hit the eligibility!)But I don't imagine many people wanting to see this in a theatre. Box office is already so dead as is at the moment, even with supposed "sure-fire" franchises and recognized IP, which have been tanking this season. So that does indeed suggest Amazon has an ulterior motive beyond generating some box office revenues. True - it's all a bit puzzling, but presumably they have some strategy in place, unclear as it is to us. Right? Right?!! 1 Quote
scielle Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:24 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:24 PM Whatever it is the are doing, I hope it works out for them and that it's a good experience both for Amazon and Celine. Why, you ask? Because with the MGM purchase, Amazon now owns the James Bond franchise, and I'm still holding out hope for Celine doing a Bond song one of these days! 4 Quote

Nmj Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:41 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 04:41 PM (edited) Anyways, good morning Team Celine. https://www.instagram.com/stories/celinedion/3390365164884066256?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igsh=MXN1OTB6a3dxZTRraw== Either it wasn’t sloppy reporting on BBC part, or team Celine is just too stupid and reposted the caption that says she’s heading back to Vegas and preparing to show already. I personally think they were told by Celine in an off camera moment. Edited June 14, 2024 at 04:43 PM by Nmj Quote

Absolutely! It’s been like old times. I nearly posted yesterday but for some reason I didn’t get to it…. I wanted to say how thankful I am for this forum and I don’t know what I would do without it. The forum gave me a scare last year when it was up and down so much. So glad to be still here with you all. Kev x 11 Quote

PuraVida Posted June 14, 2024 at 07:11 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 07:11 PM I forget where it was mentioned, but we got clarification that the documentary project started before Celine's official diagnosis and presumably wasn't meant to be all about her health battle. It was nice to see Celine's dog (Charlie?) in one of the previews as well -- looking quite chunky I wonder how old the dog is and if he's still with us Quote

That’s why I’m really hoping for a long-form interview or Q&A with her. So curious about how this was made, how it pivoted from what it was when announced to what it is now, how much did Celine tinker with the Final Cut, etc, etcSo many questions! PuraVida Posted June 14, 2024 at 08:00 PM Posted June 14, 2024 at 08:00 PM It's annoying how the general public sees the docu clips of Celine struggling to sing and they don't realise that it was a couple years ago at this point. The average person is so misinformed about the timeline of all of this -- and the crazy viral clips are the dramatic ones, not Celine's public appearances since last year or the clips of her singing again and enjoying life in public more.
