Unfortunately, I don’t have Amazon prime so not sure how I’ll be able to watch. I think my mom‘s going to try to figure out how to get it, or maybe at least limited access to it so we can watch it. I’m not sure if Amazon prime is one of those things where you can get a free trial.

Amazon prime is a great service to have…

But maybe go see it in movie theater if you don’t have it. June 21, 22, 23 is playing at a lot of theaters.

Why?

Could be, but I think it's sufficient to release it in a single theatre, and this is quite wide. On the other hand, I think it needs to run for a min of 7 days to be eligible (and this is running for 3 - unless they plan to keep it for 7 in a single theatre to hit the eligibility!)

But I don't imagine many people wanting to see this in a theatre. Box office is already so dead as is at the moment, even with supposed "sure-fire" franchises and recognized IP, which have been tanking this season. So that does indeed suggest Amazon has an ulterior motive beyond generating some box office revenues.

True - it's all a bit puzzling, but presumably they have some strategy in place, unclear as it is to us. Right? Right?!! :D

Whatever it is the are doing, I hope it works out for them and that it's a good experience both for Amazon and Celine. Why, you ask? Because with the MGM purchase, Amazon now owns the James Bond franchise, and I'm still holding out hope for Celine doing a Bond song one of these days!

Anyways, good morning Team Celine.

Either it wasn’t sloppy reporting on BBC part, or team Celine is just too stupid and reposted the caption that says she’s heading back to Vegas and preparing to show already. I personally think they were told by Celine in an off camera moment.

That’s what ChatGPT told me 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if that means seven consecutive days or the seven days in general cause I’m going to bet the earliest screening being Monday it will be probably a Total seven days.

Definitely! Have same hope.

I mean after Dame Shirley Bassey, Celine is the ultimate diva for a Bond song.

Long overdue.

This would be the perfect big moment for her career.

Man, I have a hard time to chose in which topic I'm gonna something. I'm lost with all the topics running hot, it's been ages haha.

After all these interviews with her explaining her voice, sps etc are there other celebs, artists who reacted on this?

100% but she was offered to do one but she wanted to go in a slightly different direction with it according to songwriters so it never worked out and I can’t remember if it was Sam’s or Billie’s bond song.

I forget where it was mentioned, but we got clarification that the documentary project started before Celine's official diagnosis and presumably wasn't meant to be all about her health battle. It was nice to see Celine's dog (Charlie?) in one of the previews as well -- looking quite chunky innocent.gif I wonder how old the dog is and if he's still with us

I think they should follow her instincts anyway 😝😄

It was announced Sept’21 and she got diagnosed in Aug’22 (per People).

If you go to the press release from 2021, you’ll see the initial vision for the project was very different.

Do we know when they started filming? I saw People (helpfully) did a timeline somewhere but I haven't checked it out yet.

I don’t think we really know. I can only infer from various posts from Vermillion and people employed by Irene. That’s why I’m really hoping for a long-form interview or Q&A with her. So curious about how this was made, how it pivoted from what it was when announced to what it is now, how much did Celine tinker with the Final Cut, etc, etc

So many questions!

Dr. Amanda Piquet, director of the Autoimmune Neurology Program at CU Anschutz Medical Campus, has been treating singer Celine Dion for two years.

Really? Why didn’t you ever share this?!? Disappointed.

It's annoying how the general public sees the docu clips of Celine struggling to sing and they don't realise that it was a couple years ago at this point. The average person is so misinformed about the timeline of all of this -- and the crazy viral clips are the dramatic ones, not Celine's public appearances since last year or the clips of her singing again and enjoying life in public more.

Let me find the tweet from a few years ago, but I did share it on here at the time if there’s an easier way to find it :)
