Celine doesn’t “need” to be connected neither does Cher for that matter, why do you think Cher ( or any other artist ) for example has social media??? It’s to connect with their fans, stay in touch with the people who buy your albums, go to your shows, support your perfumes, support your golf club, your smoked meat deli, and weird as hell child clothing line... etc.

The ad is the best thing about it. The clothes are simply ugly and a lot of the photos and messages are creepy. They could have made gender-neutral clothing that was actually nice and promote it with less sad/aggressive/rebellious messages. A lot of the criticism came not because of the concept but because of the way they put it into practice. Glad it failed and Céline can move on to other projects.

I certainly don’t believe that, however, the clothing line does seem very dark and disturbing.

Ugh, not this ridiculous discussion again just because of a couple of skulls...

 

I loved the message behind it. I thought the clothes were cute and creative (also: surprisingly good quality). There's a lot of kids who actually love stuff with skulls on it (they think it's badass 😊). Skulls aren't seen as 'dark and disturbing' in many cultures anyway...

The fact that the TTWII official video isn't no longer available here in Germany makes me really mad because it's one of my favorites from her and I used to watch it nearly every day. Team Celine you need to fix this stupidity and make every single music video and audio available everywhere! One can only shake ones head about them... We have to admit that IACBTMN behind the scenes was out of nowhere and was really appreciated. For Courage, let just say that it will need another 24 years for them to celebrate this album with music videos of LD and behind the scenes

 

Her team is sadly the Masters when it comes to kill a momentum. I'm sure the LD video was highly amazing, and what that is good for the hardcore fans will be 'bad' for her team and will be taken down, or that you will have to wait forever

I think that the Aldo administration was definitely reading fan forums and comments, that was pretty clear at that time. I doubt that they pay too much attention to it now. They rather do whatever they want now.

No I meant to re-record her album, with her new mature voice. It would sell out instantly, i think. For Falling Into You, it could be done prefectly. There are gems in that album that, in my opinion, would looks much better in her mature voice.

I don't think anyone would go through that amount of work if they didn't need to. Taylor Swift needs to, or legally and financially she wants to at least.

 

Can't we just listen to current day Celine to hear how her mature voice sings these songs? She can just do it live rather than an album.

I love when they used to release things like this, it was so touching and personal. Now, they barely make any efforts for Christmas time(the time when every artist play their best), they release a TATST special 1 hour video, hey TC, if we have to listen to the album, we could just listen it on Spotify, why to waste time in such a video?

 

The only message we have gotten from her recently is that personal message of Covid in which it looked like she was reading and also looked bald.

I wish Céline did more of an orchestral concert. Like she did “10 Ans Déjà”. Her arrangements were so terrible in the 90s & 00s, up until Scott Price took over. I know there was an orchestra in Vegas, but it still sounded very “pop”.

I totally agree. When I listen to the Live in Zurich CD, I cannot believe how terribly cheap and „empty“ these songs sound. Everything is reduced to the bare minimum and it sounds like a first rehersal before all the extras get to be added. (Or might this be due to the lack of post production?) Im really happy about Scott and the new band. It absolutely makes a considerable difference.
