I totally agree. When I listen to the Live in Zurich CD, I cannot believe how terribly cheap and „empty" these songs sound. Everything is reduced to the bare minimum and it sounds like a first rehersal before all the extras get to be added. (Or might this be due to the lack of post production?) Im really happy about Scott and the new band. It absolutely makes a considerable difference. I just wish they would release one of these recent concerts so that we could enjoy the new arrangements of the songs

How about no? There are hundreds of thousands of people that want to see her in Europe and already have tickets. Celine is in the US and LV all the time! And a DVD will never come close to being in the arena and seeing her live.

How about yes? Those hundreds of people can see her show later, She can replace the Courage World Tour for a European Tour only. And those people who wanted to see a costly classy stage and classy dresses, will probably will be more happy with a tour dedicated to only European Countries, so that Celine will be able to tour more countries. And as we are talking about tours, there is no way a world tour or any tour will happen in 2021, haven't you heard the news? Pandemic is here. Countries like India and many other asian and probably European countries still are battling COVID, and these vaccine may decrease the danger of Coronavirus but you will still be able to spread it. Do you know there is almost 400,000 cases in India in one 24 hours and stop giving me that stupid, uneducated reply that Celine doesn't tour India or something, you know what I am talking about.

And as to the World Tour, Courage album was a flop, believe or not, it didn't topped the charts for many weeks, it wasn't promoted well, hell, there is still one music video left to be released after 1.5 year of the album's release.

I say, just stop this tour, the album had gotten the attention it needed, even the Celine stopped promoting it now.

Stretching this tour is useless as it is making the fans hang around with hopes that it will continue

I am not agree with you at all. Maybe the Courage album has a place. A special place in her career. I am sure that the charts doesn't mean everyrhing for Celine. Maybe we will not be able to see her this summer, but it's my right to hope that this will happen. If it's possible to finish the tour next year, it will be next year. Also, as a Romanian citizen, I am not allow to go in US without a Visa, so I am not gonna see her in. Vegas soon. Here, in Europe is my only option.

They’ll never cancel the tour. They would have to give back/lose millions of dollars. Never gonna happen. More likely scenario is she’ll open the Vegas show (since Las Vegas seems to be opening in full this summer) either late 2021 or early 2022 and then continue with the tour. Possibly returning to do a few Vegas shows in between tour legs. Since AEG handles both, it shouldn’t be an issue.

 

I don’t think we’ll see any DVD release of any concert until she starts to perform less. Right now, they make so much money from ticket sales. When that stops, then they can release packages of past concerts and, since there’s no way to see her live because she doesn’t do massive world tours anymore, they might sell better.

I don't even see the relevance of the album's position in the charts. The album has sold enough units for a legacy artist, way more than MC's or Madonna's latest albums afaik, but this is a tour, and this specific tour, is the no1 pop tour in the US and 2nd best selling tour of 2020. It was a very successful tour that i personally want to experience live, if you don't mind. You are in no position to say what the hundreds of thousands of people would be more happy to witness. Lastly i don't want to wait any longer to see Celine live. She's been in the USA and especially in the LV since forever. I'm tired of reading people saying that this tour should stop when the very same people have already attended this tour more than once and they have the privilege to live in the same country she performs constantly (and that goes towards other members, not you). At some point people here should start considering others' points of views and realize that because they don't like something, that doesn't mean the rest also don't like it.

Focusing on her whole career and not just on the 90's. Treat her legacy better, perform all the songs she's recorded at some point. Less schmaltz from her back catalog, more quality songs by great songwriters. I know she has to do the requisite hits, but I'd love a show that's no more than 30-40% her material old.

 

And some dance would be fab, too. Le Ballet a few years ago was such a great step for her to take, but I think it's probably too much to expect. However, a dance interlude like the one in the tour would be wonderful. She's good at it! I want to see more.

I would get rid of LCMM altogether. This song just annoys me by now. She has many other great uptempo numbers. And I would love the bridge of Reveal in an interlude. That would be huge.
