Who was Paul?

 

Paul Farberman was Feelings' in-house counsel / business affairs guy for nearly 2 decades. He's still in the business, doing his thing, managing other artists.

He left feeling around 2013/14 though; I don't think we know why, but it seems on good terms, since his website says "We worked together for almost 17 years and it was a great honor and privilege that I will cherish forever. You could not dream of working for any finer people than René and Céline."

She now seems to work with Jamie Young at Hertz Lichtenstein Young & Polk LLP as her lawyer. Do we know whether she has anyone in-house? I don't thing so, seeing as how Dave and Denis were handling that Omnibus Agreement on her side (and neither of them is really equipped to do so...)

Didn’t they see the backlash against Adele’s stunt? The shows are slated to start in just a couple weeks.

I just wonder when they plan on re posting the announcement. Part of me wonders if they had scheduled the post and forgotten when they had scheduled it? I just know the longer the wait the more frustrated the fans will be when they do announce it.

It’s all very odd, I think it’s a done deal that it’s postponed, but they are probably trying to get the new dates finalized so they can announce it along with the post. They just need to cancel the rest of this tour and it’s done… so we don’t have have keep doing this every few months. Give people their money back.

I just feel bad for her. She can’t seem to get over her spasms. It’s almost like to me she started to get ready for Vegas last year and way over did it. I’m just surprised though, she looked so good in that Ukraine video. Time will only tell what will happen from here. I would love to see her in Vegas this fall but I’ve got my doubts now.

Some fans have had emails this week saying the Birmingham tickets are being sent out now. If the tour is being postponed that will really anger fans.

 

They've waited this long wondering if it will happen, then an email to say tickets being sent out. They will assume it's going ahead. Boom it's postponed. Extremely pissed off fans.

 

If the reschedule is happening it should have been announced long ago. Tickets being sent out will have people very excited and relieved, thinking it's happening.

I haven’t had anything to say tickets are being sent out. Just a generic email stating the bag policy, which I suspect they send out for every act due to perform there.

The RW cancellation came 2.5 weeks before the start date. So far, we are at a little over 3.5 weeks from the start date in the UK.

 

As for the Ukraine video, she did look great. But you can only tell so much from a short clip where someone is seated. Did I think she necessarily radiated health? No. I personally did not take that video as an assurance that she would be back in the UK, though I would have said it was more likely than not that everything was going to go ahead as scheduled. Seems that is in question now.

I’m starting to wonder if these spasms are at all in the throat/vocal area. I remember from the Celine TTEOTW she did have spasms there as well.

But it was completely ok to cancel the NA leg 2 MONTHS out? What did they know then that they don't know now? This whole thing has been such a mess.

I thought that after a long period away and rest that these spasms were back related after her last back issue and how she’s been doing ballet in Lockdown and not vocal related but who knows.

In january when they cancel US leg of tour Celine said they have to prepare for tour 2 month ahead and as she said in those "leaked" statement from yeasterday she is only little better dont understand why they dont comunicated earlier to prevent fans from booking flights and hotels ...

What is also stupid - them posting this and then taking it offline. Of course when you are a superstar there will always be followers on Facebook who saw the message! They can not keep quied now. Say something teamceline. Be open because the longer you wait the more pissed off people will be because they cannot cancel their flight, their hotel reservation etc etc

I think she would do the same with the European part.

 

Besides, then they said that they were canceling 2 months earlier because the preparation of the concerts requires a lot of work. Less than a month left ...

All the signs point to the shows not happening though. We’ve heard zero about rehearsals and surely if a team of that size were reuniting soon there would be a clue somewhere. From what I can see from socials her band are busy with other projects.

I think it’s evident by now… That team Celine uses the function on social media platforms that allows you to schedule a post. It’s clearly obvious because they post around the same times when they announce something. For an every day social media user the odds of being able to post for example at exactly 10:00 AM Eastern time each and every time you post would just not happen. I think it was a glitch in their system and they posted it too soon
