Pointing out the some Celine Dion fans have unrealistic expectations as to what they expect from an artist is completely different than whining and moaning that "My beloved Diva isn't doing exactly what I want her to. Why isn't she doing things I want? I'm her FAN!! Certainly she knows this and if I could just somehow get the message to her that I'm gonna have a meltdown if I don't get an update about her life from her home, just a little message, just SOMETHING so I can see her, or if I don't get a new release of an old concert from her, then surely she'd do what I want her to do because I just KNOW she loves me as much as I love her. I haven't posted here in years and I decided to post in a dvd thread because finally something was happening... Where are those days when this forum was a happy place? A positive place? Full of people? All of us getting excited because an mp3 shared in the multimedia section? Nothing about the dvd thing is unrealistic. Most artist have been active one way or another over the last year regardless the pandemic and even if Celine wants to stay away her team could still capitalise on her heritage without much effort.

Well, then let us have our "unrealistic expectations" for goodness sake. She used to release DVDs frequently in the past, so in our eyes, a DVD release is definitely not an "unrealistic expectation". You are not here to dicuss your passion for Celines artistry. If she released a new DVD, you would also buy and watch it. What a fiasco that night turned out to be! Plus, how disappointing it was that Celine actually rehearsed "Treat Her Like A Lady" live, and then lipped the dang thing during the actual concert. LOL

 

She didn’t fully lip it mind you, the last minute or so she gave up cause the playback was malfunctioning and sang over it, and sounded incredible

The fact was that was the most concerted bout of activity on the forum in recent memory, certainly since Celine released Courage that’s for sure.

 

Not saying you have to feel good about it. That’s a separate point. The point I’m making is that was akin how it used to feel back in older days of the forum, and we approach that feeling with the new energy of the Say Yes campaign. Did you not see new faces commenting, one person at least saying they hadn’t commented in years?

The song before is pour que tu m'aimes encore and this is always fully live in her shows, while soundchecks in general she often doesn't sing the full thing and plays around with it to rest her voice. Yeah, in her warm-ups she'll just sing parts of a song. I think she just does it freeform---I would guess they rehearsed the actual thing more in depth in her trailer or something. Like how they showed for Sur Les Plaines.

 

Except I wonder because it seems like according to the video this was Celine's first time seeing Diana, so maybe they fleshed it out afterwards. I hope so, because something about this rehearsal always seemed weird to me about the body language and interaction between her and Celine.

Hahaha well I have to say they let us in the dark so long and could have made a statement that they are currently busy rescheduling. All we get our useless games or questions from TeamCeline. They are so disconnected with the fanbase.

Apparently the dates for the French shows on their ticketing website have disappeared, which leads me to believe we've got an announcement incoming in the next few days. Here's what I see playing out.

 

There are three different announcements I could think of that they could drop:

1. The POSTPONEMENT of the EUROPEAN LEG - This is the option I think is most likely as we don't have enough data yet to touch the North American dates and I would assume that the VEGAS contract is flexible enough to have the date pushed back for Celine to finish the Courage tour.
    
   
2. The CANCELLATION of the EUROPEAN LEG - I don't think this is very likely UNLESS they are unable to reschedule due to VEGAS in which case I could see them doing this and an Asian leg during the summer like they did at The Colosseum.
    
   
3. The CANCELLATION of the WHOLE TOUR - The most drastic option due to not being able to push back the both sets of announced dates (Europe and North America) due to the VEGAS contract not being able to be pushed back.
   

Time will tell.

I so hope that I'm wrong.

But I truly see it happen that summer 2022 she will start Vegas and just forgets about this tour.
