I love her Courage looks, I remember the first time I saw it I was so surprised. The hairstyle was very chic & different to what she normally has (and looked great on her). The outfits were a good mix of elegant, youthful, and sexy.

 

There was only one outfit I didn't like much, the one for MHWGO.

 

Every time I think of Courage the image of Celine in her red dress and blonde sleek bob comes to mind. That was the defining/iconic look of the CWT era and I think they nailed it.

The short version is that he's in preparation to release a solo album. Said he's thought about it for a good 10 years but never went ahead with it. Doesn't say he's leaving Céline so sounds like a side project.

Well I filed to be reimbursed for my tickets. No way I'll be in France next September. I got lucky that I was supposed to be there when the last 2 times it was scheduled. Who knows how many more times things will be postponed.

Loll postponed to 2022.... Florida was done with Covid-19 last Fall in 2020. Everybody from all over the world is flying over here. Its party time here with great weather 🥵. She should bring Courage World tour down here and make it a residency

Uuuhhh...what do you mean Florida was done with Covid in Fall 2020? One day in December, there was a recorded 17,000 cases in one day. They never fully shut down the state of Florida, and their governor is a nit wit Trump supporter who didn’t advocate for mask wearing or social distancing at all.

I think when this tour resumes, they need to release a fabulous deluxe edition of the “Courage” album. I’ve said it before, that they should add songs that Celine recorded and loved; but didn’t make the final cut. Call it the “Ruby Edition” to keep it in the red theme they’ve been using for this era. And of course revamp the set list. Add some “Courage” songs and instead of the medley she’s doing now, and instead of an acoustic medley, do an upbeat medley of songs from Celine’s discography. LCMM, Misled, To Love You More (Tony Moran Pop Edit for a little surprise), IDAN, Taking Chances remix. I think that would be fun, and different.

Beside keeping imperfections and courage, again including defenitely flying on my own and lying down

 

and then on stage I think those songs would work well easily:

then the ballads would working well too as courage and lying down do:

perfect goodbye

say yes

falling in love again

for the lover that I lost

 

and the following would also work well if the arrangement is done right:

lovers never die

the chase

change my mind (for the high notes, in lady marmelade she is comfortable with them right?)

nobody's watching

(for these four above I'm optimistic, thinking of refuse to dance in 2017, it sounded amazing and modern, same as love is all we need)

Definitely Flying On My Own, Courage, Lying Down and Imperfections.

Plus I'd love Look At Us Now and Change My Mind (The Hard Way too, but only with a choir). Perfect Goodbye can be a nice show closer and maybe she can do an acoustic medley of For The Lover That I Lost, Say Yes/The Chase, Falling In Love Again.

It would be awesome to have a one-time show like she did with 10 Ans Déjà and have a full symphony orchestra with some pop songs strewn in for variety. Even if she was 25 again, her voice wouldn’t be strong enough to tour with some of these songs, but alas this is hypothetical anyway. This will never happen, so I’ll dream BIG.

At this point, I think it has more to do with age and using it differently than the resting part.

We all have to realize and accept her voice will only become more fragile as the years go by.

Include those songs that she was upset that she couldn’t. Package it the right way and market it as I mentioned above and start a whole new buzz for this era in her career. It’s very doable. Won’t happen, but it can be done. And I don’t care about a hit single. She doesn’t need one. But create the buzz with the right release for her return on tour, and get the album itself more recognition because it’s well deserved. It’s truly her best English effort since FIY.

Oh, I 100% agree! I was just saying that they could recycle the 5 bonus tracks (which never got the vinyl treatment) with 5-10 new songs and right there you have something worth purchasing.

Exactly my friends live in florida and im like man why can't the UK be the same. Covid is here to stay, we need to move on and get back to some reality now.
