Céline RO Posted February 17, 2021 at 01:48 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 01:48 PM I get why dates are scheduled out so far, I had tickets for early last year as well, but at this point starting a tour from an album you did 3 years prior is weird. I think leave Courage alone and put out a new album next year and tour on it. We need a new French album as well. Like I’ve said before, the tour isn’t meant to represent the album. It was named Courage not after the album but after an entire stage in Céline’s life. Céline has said several times that the Courage World Tour is the beginning of the rest of her life so, regardless of how irrelevant the Courage album may become, they just happen to have the same name but the Courage tour is completely separate and so it can still go on as planned. While I don’t expect nor necessarily wish for Céline to release another English album this soon, I agree that it’s about time we got a new French album. 2 Quote The best is yet to come...

While I know this doesn’t apply to everyone, I don’t mind waiting another year as long as I know the shows will take place. I’m also happy that Céline decided to fulfill the long-term commitment that is the Courage tour and not just abandon it and do Vegas instead. Vegas can wait, we need to get through the whole tour first. It also means that I may have been right when I predicted, even before the pandemic, that Céline would only return to Vegas in 2023 at the earliest. On a side note, she looks great in that video. She looks so much better when she’s not tanned and with a bit of weight on. Now all she needs to do is dye her hair a little darker but, of course, it’s a matter of taste. couldawouldashoulda Posted February 17, 2021 at 02:00 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 02:00 PM Next summer is, hopefully, a safe enough bet for events like this to start again. I'm sure the North American leg will be postponed as well. Again, they'll just wait until 30 days from the start of it to make any sort of decision. I agree that, although the tour is called "Courage," we all know it doesn't represent the album. It's a Greatest Hits tour. As Celine RO said above, "Courage" represented a stage of Celine's life, the courage it took to go on after her husband and manager passed. And it will represent the courage we'll all have to have in order to go into a stadium with 100,000 other people. A lot of people won't have the courage to do that for years. This pandemic will have lasting effects on the world's mental health. So I think Courage is still an apt name for the tour. I doubt there will be many changes since it's a Greatest Hits Tour. I agree Imperfections will probably be taken out and replaced with the Dianne Warren song - unless that song is already a year old by then. I think if anyone has tickets to this tour and hates the set list, now is the time to get your refund. Don't expect a big change - it's going to be the same old tour we've all seen. So get a refund and wait for her to do another mini-tour on a Vegas break. Those seems to be the tours of most interest to the die hard fans. Quote
browseceline Posted February 17, 2021 at 03:13 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 03:13 PM (edited) One thing...I thought she really felt defeated, tired, sad. As for myself, I can still decide what to do. For now I am like , this is so far away. Where am I at that time in September? Anything can change in a life. I guess we all are vaccinated around that time but yes I will be a bit reluctant going to big concerts again. Balao Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:03 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:03 PM I am not reluctant at all to go to a big concert, even right now. But if we need to get vaccinated before going to the concert, I will surely resell my tickets. 3 Quote

There still seem to be a lot of people who think vaccination will not work or is not necessary to fight this pandemic. Or even people who think this is some kind of simple flu. Well I tell you my best friend got this nasty virus and he was very sick and had trouble breathing. The only thing to get rid of this virus is to vaccinate. And of course you cannot go to a concert when you are vaccinated and other people.are not. That is a potential danger. Concerts will go on but there sure will be new rules and I think vaccination is key. ryba Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:34 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:34 PM The problem with the vaccine though is that it doesn’t guarantee that you don’t pass the virus on to someone else. So all in all we are still pretty much in the dark Quote

comingback Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:48 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 04:48 PM Here we go again. June 2022 for Germany. I think she should do a tour for her next French album + some new English songs in 2022. The Courage era is over..it's time for a new one. But as one member said, 2022 is far away... Quote

Since she recorded so many songs for Courage they could easily pull it off. And God I hope that she will add 10 new songs at least into that setlist. Plenty of time to rehearse and create. what do you think is needed then? What is your solution? Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G965F met Tapatalk Edited February 17, 2021 at 06:11 PM by mirage 1 Quote

browseceline Posted February 17, 2021 at 05:57 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 05:57 PM Just open up and let nature do its work. And if you want to be the first in line for a vaccine that maybe will work, or maybe not, or maybe protects for mutation #54585, or maybe not, or has just 65% protection. Be my guest. But 'promote' the vaccine with 'you can go to festivals, you can go to a concert, you can travel, you can go out for dinner' is just wrong.I direct they are forcing you to take it. And by using headlines 'that the younger generation is positive to take a vaccine' to get more people onto that train is also wrong. Of course they are taking it if you tell them it gives them acces to festivals, travels etc. That's the only thing they hear. But looking at the numbers and read between the lines it's still not 100% if it works out. But people just read what the want to read and take everything for true. Anyway, this is not the topic for this. I'll leave it here just because you asked. Let's go back to the tour. I hope that now she will release her back to back album she told us. Since she recorded so many songs for Courage they could easily pull it off. And God I hope that she will add 10 new songs at least into that setlist. Plenty of time to rehearse and create. Well I don't think she will. They will use the same setlist I am sure. Considering the tour got many good reviews in the states I don't think they will change the setlist. Would be great though. As for the vaccine. The virus won't have chance to mutate if it can't spread because people are vaccinated.Anyway we cannot convince each other. mirage Posted February 17, 2021 at 06:15 PM Posted February 17, 2021 at 06:15 PM They still haven't figured out if you can't spread it while being vaccinated. It's not about convincing.
