The o2 is rescheduling a lot of artists dates for March, April & May this week to dates later in the year and a few for next year, so I think it’s safe to say we soon be hearing what’s happening to Celine’s dates in the coming days.

I absolutely adore The Power Of Love! It’s definitely one of Celine’s signature songs. I wish I could’ve seen one of the concerts where it opened the show. I think it’s the perfect opening number.

 

It’s a power ballad that encompasses everything that made Celine Dion an icon - in my opinion. And it’s her first #1 in the United States. Took her to the next level.

 

 

couldn’t agree more. the huge cinematic intro from 2017 and the general arrangement of the song was beyond perfection! i saw her in stockholm, her second night during the tour and she sang it with so much passion.. the more she sang it, the less passion she put into it tho. i only wish she would sing it in it’s complete length

The 2017 arrangement was exquisite, and the visuals for CWT were amazing, too. I'm sure fans that don't know it's been playback for 25+ years do enjoy seeing it "live", so I understand why it's there and probably always will be.

I thought she started her headvoice stuff on the intro in Stockholm, but I guess she started it later. Or maybe she only did it sometimes. She didn't do it in London, but in the 2nd video we hear it in the Netherlands.

Compared with the setlist of the courage tour I prefer this one and I even prefer her outfit and hair and the lights here.

I was at the 2nd leg on O2 Arena and saw several cameras so I know that was filmed.

Do you know if the first leg of shows there was also filmed?

She really looked younger and sung more songs on that first two shows, like TCOML and TR if I’m not mistaken.

Both were filmed they just used camera cranes and audience facing cameras for the 2nd leg in London which is why signs were shown in the second leg to let the audience know.

I believe only the July 29th & 30th shows were professionally filmed. Same goes for the Paris shows on July 8th & 9th.

I think now is the time for celine to do a few online gigs of her rare or never performed songs, maybe an English show once every 4/5 months to reconnect with fans & do the same for a French online show. I’d happily pay for that, worked well recently with other artists. Just have a limited number of musicians and her.

Oh lord. That evening was one of the few times I wanted to strangle Rene. We had a big forum party that night because they were streaming the whole festival and the announcer kept saying "stay tuned for Celine". Right at showtime, the rug got pulled from underneath of us and we were told that due to management and contractual agreements, Celine's set would not be streamed.
