Well i just got home.

 

She did sound amazing tonight. Such clarity in the prayer. I like it moved to the spot its at. Tous les blues is an absolute highlight.

 

You're the Voice is actually pissing me off. Like i feel genuinely pissed off. If she has to sing the song then bloody sing it but skip the 5 plus minutes of forced audience participation and multiple efforts. just get to it.

 

The lack of songs off the album is really disappointing. It's clear that the covers are her favorites in the show too. Its just strange honestly but overall her voice and persona were on fire tonight.

I was in the room, and I only noticed one or two cracks. I stand by my comment that, overall, her voice sounded flawless.

Well her voice was not in such a great shape either. Way worst than after her comeback after being sick. Cracks quite a lot with difficulties to sustain notes. The tone is still beautiful though.

 

I think I really could slap her when she sings You re the voice and this shitty medley. This is sad.

As expected no new songs. Starting the tour before the album was out messed everything up. In September they could only play the already released songs, and now they are probably too lazy to change anything. This tour should have started in January and give Celine proper time to promote as well. Anyway, no use crying over spilt milk now, but having only two new songs from this great album is sad. If this setlist won´t change in future ( which probably will not) it can´t be called Courage world tour with 2 song from Courage album ... sorry but that´s a scam on fans and I absolutly don't care what the general audience wants to hear they knew they were buying tickets for COURAGE WORLD TOUR so even general public have to expect they will hear also new songs.

 

This tour seems totally unprepared, and as someone has written here, it's all about money, to get as much money as possible with the lowest budget.

I am even doubting her connection to the new album at this point. IMO, she is not feeling it. Got the same feeling from her interviews. I think recording songs in the span of 3 years has had a negative impact. Hence, the lack of promo now. It is sad.

It's very strange as we also had interviews where she was practically jumping for joy with excitement about the album and saying how proud she was of it.

I mean, come to think of it, this is actually not such a far flung suggestion...20 songs is a lot! And I mean, from interviews it’s clear that she has only hummed or sang impromptu a small amount of them...

 

I wonder what her favorite song off the new album is. Probably Lying Down?

 

Also, if you want to compare Celine’s vocal health to Barbra at this same age Céline is now.... her famous 1994 concert.

I agree with you.. To me Celine is more a businesswoman lately who only does the show to make it sell. And those vegassongs always were guaranteed sold out anyway so why change a winning team? The album was nice to record but in the end even an Couragetour is Vegas 3.0 plus her fashion parade and a fancy stage... Sorry just dissapointed and as i said before, now she does not stand for her new music and does not show much interest showing her new songs in a tour called Courage, i am loosing interest listening to the album..

The arena where Celine gives her concert is 4 minutes walk from my flat. I can actually see it through my window. Only reason why I decided to keep my ticket. She will be THAT close so I would rather attend. Had I known the set-list I would have never bought a ticket. Given the circumstances I will attend half-heartedly. This is the sad truth.
