What if this should be the new party medley:

 

FOMO,IDAN, Ashes Aoki Demix, RDMH

 

All songs she already done (since she seems to like that), we get FOMO and IDAN again, Ashes is being included since it's a recent hit + the Aoki Demix is pretty good, and she doesn't have to add yet another ballad (she can even lip it) and RDMH -I know many here have heard enough of it but let's face it it's almost hers by now and she does it really fine and it's a nice and powerful "ending" before the oh so unexpected so called encore.

 

And imagine FOMO and the Aoki Demix with a huge discoball and a rad lazer show! 😍

I love those song choices, but I don’t see her lipping in the middle of a medley. The pre-finale batch of songs is usually one of the most energetic performances of the night, like she needs that to gear up for MHWGO. So lipping would kind of suck the fun out of it for her, don’t you agree?

There are still more new articles rolling out about Courage being number one.

 

Hope the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade boosts sales and makes more folks aware that Celine’s promoting new music!

Sure I agree!

 

It's not that I WANT her to lip or prefer it. It was just that if it increased the chances of her doing them (come to think she usually lips IDAN too, right? Plus finds FOMO difficult) I could tolerate lipping.

 

It's just so frustrating that she now has a handful of uptempos of her own that are actually known to most concert goers and would indeed raise the mood, and yet she still goes for the covers instead (and let's face it, none of those covers are rather "artistic" but more done in a karaoke manner).

 

(And as for IDAN, I saw some sort of news clip where concert goers were asked what songs they looked forward to and one started singing it. I do think many people expect it and it is still relevant and not overperformed like for example TLYM.)

I don’t know if this is reliable, but here’s a little something I found on Instagram. In the hashtags I see a arena called #Shenzhenbaysportscenter, which leads me to believe the Asia Pacific Leg is in the works and could be announced in the coming months. Just wanted to pass it along!

I feel the same way, Julien. I liked IDAN the few times she sang it live, and several of the remixes —but other than that it makes me queasy. But I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard people say, “I’m not a fan of her music, but I LOVE ‘I Drove All Night’!!!” It makes me shudder she has SO many more fantastic songs than that (even from One Heart!!!) Nonetheless a hit is a hit, and it deserves to be on her “2019-2020 Greatest Hits” tour! However, I certainly wouldn’t complain if it got a new arrangement

It’s actually good. Just watched it for the first time from this tour. Usually she says that as a duet, right? I’ve rarely seen her perform the entire song by herself. All i’m thinking when i watch is “take a kayak”.

I think she only sang it live by herself at The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 2004. I'm still in love with the original studio solo version from 1998, wish we'll get HQ audio one day I still can't understand why she re-recorded the song with her 2004 voice for Miracle, having that crystal clear original recording...

It's good that they are advertising it as sold-out when in reality it is not that accurate... All venues have lower attendance in comparison with the same venue used by Celine during TCWT (when there was a round stage and it took more seats on the floor and around arms, so with end stage it should be more) or tour 2016. In two cases the venue was different, but still the attendance is lower. And some venues have bigger concert capacity according to their websites... so they were not used fully...

 

Finally, even Montreal has 400 less tickets sold (per show) this year, so in my opinion they just didn't count those sectors that were entirely available

OF COURSE TCWT had bigger attendances! It was in the round! They used the full arena! End stage cuts off the entire back wall, which in most venues can be between 2,000 and 5,000 total seats cut off due to it being end stage, so of COURSE its going to be a lower attendance. In the round allows you to use the entire floor and entire seated section where as end stage doesnt, end stage is always smaller. Youre really reaching as youve done nothing but constantly complain about this tour since the moment it was announced and its infuriating. And yes, those 400 seats you quote wont have been available for sale as the 2016 stage was right against the back wall and didnt have the arms (which cut off seats) and didnt have the huge screens on the side (which cuts off side view and so reduces capacity).... you really do lack common sense. And, again, furthermore venues never fill the total attendance for concerts or sporting events, because those are maximum capacities and many events configurations reduce that, theres also the fact that okay, a venue can hold 20,000, but that 20,000 will be extremely cramped and will be poorly organised, so they make the available tickets 18 or 19,000 instead... god how difficult is it?

She re recorded this song for the Miracle album, they changed some of the lyrics too. Also the ending is different.

As much we have our qualms over the setlist... I do have to admit I am looking forward to Sunday. I miss her! Just seeing her on stage is so heartwarming!

I dont know why the tour isnt mostly new songs from the Courage album and some classics thrown in. I thought that was the point of a big album tour. Hmmm what would I rather hear- "Perfect Good-bye" or "Beauty and the friggin Beast?" I know what my answer is!!!
