DoronTam Posted December 4, 2019 at 04:25 AM Posted December 4, 2019 at 04:25 AM Went to Chicago on Sunday and Indianapolis tonight and outside of the setlist that’s been discussed plenty I thought Celine looked and sounded absolutely amazing. The crowds both nights were behind her all the way and you could tell she was eating it up. I wish a few more songs were added instead of YTV and the medley but the show is visually stunning and the crowd really really loves her and she is having a blast. Go and try to get close to the side stages or on the floor if you can. I've never had those error codes before but it kept doing it to me and a friend tried and received the same result. Not sure how to avoid that for the future. Quote

I agree with Tyler that the crowd seemed bored when they realised the medley was longer than one song.... “The Prayer” & « Tous les blues... » received “mini” standing ovations. “Imperfections” & “Courage” were really well received. I’ve been awake since 5am so I can’t remember which song, but one of them got such great applause that she was getting choked up... I’ll have to check my videos tomorrow. Having been right up close to the stage in Chicago versus further back this time, I did enjoy the visuals more. I also noticed more nuances from the orchestra than before (strings, timpani, etc.) Visually, the front half of the show was pretty tame: “I’m Alive”, “You’re the Voice”, and “Imperfections” were the most pleasing IMO. Then it’s kind of boring until the Medley starts. We left after MHWGO. I’m looking forward to splicing some of tonight’s wide shots with footage from Chicago. 6 Quote

The visuals are pretty decent. The stage backdrops that is. The lighting rather is pretty tame really. For her shows of the past, this is definitely a step up. Compared to many others I've seen recently i wouldn't say these visuals are the greatest but they're suitable. I'm alive has some of my fav visuals. I liked courage a lot too. Tous les blues is rather basic visual. I did notice the band sounding a bit different in a few spots in that song tonight. Before the reason was dropped ABM had zero visual. Now it has what the reason did. You're the voice and really most of the medley is a good visual too. Quote

More than 50'000 people were connected, trying to have tickets; and because every person bought 2 tickets... that means that 35'000 people didn't manage to get those tickets!!! That's completely INSANE. I receive messages from friends every hour telling me "do you have extra tickets??? I/my colleagues/friends/kids/dogs want to see Céline in Paléo!!!" And also, we could buy a ticket for the whole week (including the Monday for Céline), it was sold 450 CHF... And of course they are also sold out! Incredible. I know the set-list is not ideal but I'm excited for the European concerts anyway. Stockholm is almost sold out now (some singles tickets left in different sections). I have to say one thing....I went to see JLo in Miami this year... im kinda of a fan, but not a die hard fan. Really love her 90s hits.... and few hits from recent years. But i haven’t bought her albums in decades..... And she sang sooo many unknown songs (to me at least) that i couldn’t careless to hear.... Sooooo..... i still had a good time at JLo’s concert! I just wish she would have sang more hits.... but she has to please her fan base.... But how many knew all those “unknown” songs?? 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t know... Maybe Celine is avoiding that. But 1-2 songs from Courage album... I still feel left out.... I feel like she owes her fan base some fresh songs, and to try to make them shine. Regardless of what her general public cares or not to hear them. 5 should be the minimum. And just do more medleys of her hits. Quote
