dyusha Posted December 3, 2019 at 06:30 PM Posted December 3, 2019 at 06:30 PM It's been rumored that she rehearsed Perfect Goodbye and Change My Mind and during soundcheck in Chicago, so she hopefully we'll be saying a perfect goodbye to Imagine soon I will literally sell all of my VIP tickets if that happens. Luckily I cannot imagine putting songs like The Prayer and Perfect Goodbye together in the same show, she’d have to change the whole set list Quote I'll always be with you
Remon Posted December 3, 2019 at 06:36 PM Posted December 3, 2019 at 06:36 PM How did you get tickets yesterday, was there a pre-sale? Yes a TeamCeline presale, but limited availability and only 2 tickets per person. Quote

Céline RO Posted December 3, 2019 at 07:33 PM Posted December 3, 2019 at 07:33 PM When it comes to Celine, I admit that I always try to see the glass half full, but... The videos from the latest shows in Chicago and Montreal speak for themselves. It seems the crowds are having the times of their lives.Celine sounds impeccable. And she's the #1 touring artist right now. Despite any setlist controversy / us hardcore fans wanting more songs from her new album.I think this tour might be....A HUGE SUCCESS?!! Go look at videos from Whitney's last tour. Or some footage of Mariah on tour. Then maybe you'll start to see the glass half full too. I have a friend who's obsessed with metal bands. He goes and sees concerts all the time.He told me that when a band like Metallica, for instance, tours for their new albums, they usually do their greatest hits (because that's why people buy the ticket in the first place) and then they'll perform two-ish songs from their new album. Regardless -- in an effort to keep her hardcore fans from feeling alienated -- I'm in total agreement that Celine should cut out songs like You're The Voice and Imagine and replace them with two more songs from Courage. I think she clings onto these because they are statement songs in her eyes.Or she could keep YTV and Imagine and STILL add in a couple more songs from Courage. At the end of the day, we just need to take a deep breath and calm down.Audiences are clearly eating up this show and that's to be celebrated. She's still kicking butt better than most after many MANY years of doing this. She put out an amazing album full of fantastic songs.I've never needed her to sing Show Some Emotion from the Celine Dion album in order to totally love the song.Celine hit #1 despite streaming ruling the charts these days. She is the top artist on tour right now.So this era is a SUCCESS. If she performs a couple more songs from Courage on the tour and she makes a few more TV appearances where sings a couple more songs from the album -- I'm a very happy camper. The only other thing I'm craving is some making of the album footage where we get to hear Celine talk about why she chose the songs she chose and see her recording them. Let's hope that a new music video catches fire.Or some other occurrence gives the album another big boost. We never know what's coming our way. I love people like you!! 1 Quote The best is yet to come...

Critiaslux Posted December 3, 2019 at 09:01 PM Posted December 3, 2019 at 09:01 PM (edited) Artistically and in terms of professional development, Celine's career died I do beg to differ: - Both the Courage album - And the 2016 tour Are IMO the testimony of the opposite. But her tempo is maybe not ours / yours. 😉 Edited December 3, 2019 at 09:08 PM by Critiaslux 3 Quote

DionFanAlways Posted December 3, 2019 at 09:19 PM Posted December 3, 2019 at 09:19 PM Maybe no one remembers this, but up until a few days ago I was bemoaning the setlist and the ticket prices as loudly as everyone else. Adding insult to injury, I had to resell 2 tickets (at a 50% loss) because my friends bailed. I, too, heard the rumour she was going to sing "Change My Mind" & "Perfect Goodbye" — right as I was taking my seat (I didn't believe it, but still). Despite being disillusioned with the whole experience before it even started, I told myself "It is what it is. I'll try to enjoy the show regardless and get some good pictures." I've been to two other shows before, and gotten pretty close to the stage, but both performances had me like "Meh. I wasn't blown away." Then it happened last night: she blew my f**** mind away!!!! I'm serious, guys: my mind is an utterly destroyed hot mess, burnt-#ss pile of ash and rubble. All I can think about is how great she looked, sounded, and moved across the stage. She slayed every genre that lay in her path: pop/rock ballads, disco, blues, opera, John Lennon's Imagine. Would I have rather seen her do that to her own new songs? Absolutely. Does that change the feeling I got from being there in person? Nope. I got home last night, and home just isn't "home" when you're not 2 rows away from the stage in front of Céline Dion. Right now I'm trying to concoct a solid plan to get me out of work early, so I can drive to Indy to see her AGAIN tonight. That's how amazing she was!!! My advice if you're on the fence about this show: UPGRADE YOUR TICKETS. Unless you've already seen her live 10+ times (then you'll probably hate it). I dunno, in the end it all depends on how miserable you want to be. I was always one of those fans that said "She can sing the phonebook, and I'll buy it". This show was the ultimate test of that devotion.Lol, yep, she does that to you. You can't get enough! I'm glad you had a great time. 1 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
