In pictures and on television but especially in person, she looks so good with that new hair!! She looks younger, and more “fresh”... I think she should keep it for a LONG while, for me they have been so lazy with her hair in recent years doing the same old style with slight changes that either aged her or didn’t suit her, the bob is probably as easy as a bun for her but still looks great. So I vote to keep it for a long while LOL.

She looks so sleek and modern with this hair. Looks very futuristic Celine. I have a few friends who don’t follow Celine’s career but they’ve reached out to me about how great she looks on this tour.

I actually think it makes her look older (I think I agree with Airis Airis on this one ). I can only imagine how good she would look with her Vegas hair in these new outfits. I can’t wait for her to get rid of it. I also can’t stand that light shade of blonde as I think she would look better with darker hair.

I feel the opposite. The longer hair makes her looked washed out and trying to hard and much older and this new style really suits her longer face and I feel makes her look 10 years younger....

As written in the G&M article the haircut would date back just before the Quebec shows.

 

Its not a haircut though, its a wig. Someone earlier in the thread posted screenshots from Ottawa when she swung round fast during the uptempo medley and you could see her actual hair in a bun under the wig

From the seating plan it seems tonights show will be back to the size and set up of the Quebec shows, which is good

It’s a wig. This is how she looked before the Louisville show with her REAL long, brown hair.

To me that looks like a short pony-tail, not long at all.

Now that would be a completely different setpoint... maybe throw in something extra from her back catalouge (which they went through, how fast??) like WFTM and this tour would no longer deserve a title like "Broken Promises" and actually be "Courage".

 

Like that you put C as the encore, which to me is the only place it would fit if it should be in the setlist.

She cannot expect songs to become well known and received well by live audiences if they’re only ever performed on one tour then dropped. Does anyone expect to ever hear “How Does A Moment Last Forever” live again? What about “Ashes”? Are we done with that now too? If her songs don’t stream or chart well then she needs to perform them so people do get to know them better. “Recovering” too. Are we done with that forever?

 

It’s incredible that “You’re The Voice” can make it into this tour but “Ashes” cannot. She just rotates the same 20/25 songs in and out of the show.

 

In 2044 are we going to be saying “yes first time we’ve heard Love Is All We Need in 25 years since the 2017 tour!” I’m surprised that song wasn’t dropped during the 2017 tour if we’re basing the set list on audience reactions!

 

I guess what I’m saying is it would be good if she dipped into her ENTIRE repertoire instead of the same bunch of songs.

FOMO has to be used the reproduction of the Vegas and London shows, which worked well. When she sang in Canada it wasn't cool, it was very low and lifeless.

 

Another thing that is bothering me, is the video of MY Heart Will Go On. Some fans of Adele are saying that Celine copied the video, I watch the video and saw many similarities, was it the same director who made the video? ? watch and tell me what you think ??

Tous les Blues from Louisville is unbelievable too😁. I consider her repertoire globally quite poor but when such a quality song meets such a magic interpret and vocalist as well as a stage beast. It s a magical moment for me. You come to whiteness this. This is Celine Dion. The musicians take their time, Celine takes her time, the arrangements are amazing, the feeling is great. Well done from Scott. And Dion is here at the best of her art.

It's so weird how half assed they are with this concept. By actions they show it's just an empty word (not singing the new single... if now that takes courage, not making new arrangements for songs, not bringing forth the so called back catalouge basically at all - I do think they did SUCH an effort putting IYAMT in there though) yet they prentend it's some kind of consept...

 

I mean even Céline herself spoke VERY LITTLE of what courage is during the live stream I watched from the first US show. Then she summed up the night by saying something like this night was all in the theme of courage. And I was like WHAT??

 

Is it just me or is this Courage theme extreeeeemly superficial and kinda taken from out of the blue...?

I mean... it is literally a circle with a few ramps and a screen. Its size simply comes from it being a stadium show, hence the required size. Id still argue however that the stage from the TCWT was more “advanced” than that and that was 2008

But why no outfit changes? The dressing room is below the stage, I believe. Just like it was during the TCWT.

Celine could always wear 5 or 6 layers and remove them slowly for new looks.
