celinesounds Posted October 26, 2019 at 12:48 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 12:48 AM (edited) beauty and the beast needs a rest, the song is so boring now, like LCMM, as The Reason there are so many songs that she has to bring back and new ones to singI don't understand why Ashes is not in the set list, or even Recovering Unison, Love is out of question, Water from the moon, Misled, - Could be a Medley have you ever been in love could be a great opening maybe those songs will be replaced by new ones, when the album is out Edited October 26, 2019 at 12:49 AM by celinesounds 2 Quote #FREEJAVITO

Tyler1991 Posted October 26, 2019 at 04:25 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 04:25 AM Maybe we can start a crowdfunding campaign to send Tyler, Tim and Henrique to every single show filming for the forum!?I'd pay for that! Envoyé de mon LLD-L31 en utilisant Tapatalk Oooh nice idea. Yeah im willing to say between the three of us we can split the shows to make it less costly. Lol There weren't many clips from last night and the few there were people kept cutting at the good parts lol. 3 Quote

queenofvegas Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:38 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:38 AM (edited) I hope Celine brings back "Priére Paienne" back for the French leg.I've been saying this for a while! It's such an upbeat and dance-able song, it would break the slow and almost melancholy vibe of her other songs. It could possibly be too much for her though, since the large majority of the song is high notes and sustained belting. She keeps recycling her "old" songs and it gets annoying. Remember when she said her and her team spent hours listening to the back list tracks of all her albums? Apparently all she got from that was If You Asked Me To and The Prayer (which I think are both very mediocre songs). She gave us TWO "rare" songs after spending hours listening to her music! Disappointing. Edited October 26, 2019 at 06:39 AM by queenofvegas 2 Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:49 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:49 AM Team Céline. I think you should now ask your creative team to make a creative visuals for Imperfections. Then, after that include the Imperfection song to her current setlist. But this song will be great if there are dancers. 1 Quote
mirage Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:57 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 06:57 AM (edited) Oooh yes please!!! She always kept most of her D'eux songs in the setlist but this one and Regarde Moi got kicked out very quick. RM came back in 2013 and a few show now, would love to see PP make a comeback! I hope Celine brings back “Priére Paienne” back for the French leg. Edited October 26, 2019 at 07:00 AM by mirage Quote
JulienMcbeal Posted October 26, 2019 at 08:26 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 08:26 AM Oh, no, Prière Païenne is sooo kitsch! It was fun at the time, but it aged poorly. I'd prefer En attendant ses pas, which was a succesfull radio promotional single in France (though every one forgot it now lol) or L'abandon. She never sang them and they don't have high notes. Even if En attendant ses pas should probably be lowered.Je cherche l'ombre could provide a beautiful intimate moment. I'd die for Si je n'ai rien de toi or Si j'étais quelqu'un! For uptempo songs, why not Des mots qui sonnent ? Same period as IYAMT. Envoyé de mon LLD-L31 en utilisant Tapatalk 3 Quote Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

I think it would be such fun to see her perform it again. 2 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay
JulienMcbeal Posted October 26, 2019 at 08:47 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 08:47 AM Well, if we want some kitsch, let's go very deep and ask for Mon rêve de toujours or Délivre moi! Totally bonkers, but very interesting to hear her current voice on those! Envoyé de mon LLD-L31 en utilisant Tapatalk 1 Quote Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

Jeanette Posted October 26, 2019 at 09:25 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 09:25 AM I got an email about my vip bag being on the way and should be here monday. 8 days after my show That’s a bit crazy. I mean the VIP Lanyard is pretty pointless now, you want to wear it at the show 🙄. I think they should go back to collection at the venues or at least have it shipped to the recipient prior to the show. 2 Quote
noyau Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:24 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:24 AM I can't remember ever going to see another artist and thinking to myself during the show "oh really hope they sing Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion tonight." Actually... I did. I knew that Christine and the Queens was singing "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" a capella with the crowd during her last tour, so I was really disappointed because she didn't sing it in Paleo festival where I saw her. CSCfan Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:57 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:57 AM Oh, no, Prière Païenne is sooo kitsch! Half her repertoire is kitch Besides, with some updated arrangement it could be such a FUN song live.... together with 'Destin'. She should omit 'Dans un autre monde', 'Ziggy' and 'Terre' and either do ABM or 'L'amour existe encore'. Also bring back 'On ne change pas' and 'Le vol d'un ange' please Bring in 'Tu sauras', an 'On s'est aimé a cause'/'A cause' mashup and 'Femme comme chacune. 4 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY
Modesta Posted October 26, 2019 at 11:19 AM Posted October 26, 2019 at 11:19 AM I wish she would sing OOR in Europe. At least in Finland it's a bit more obscure than TT, but still a hit. It was the first song I ever heard from Celine, and it made me fall in love with her voice straight away. I was about ten at the time - feels like yesterday 1 Quote

JulienMcbeal Posted October 26, 2019 at 01:21 PM Posted October 26, 2019 at 01:21 PM Does anyone else want “Piaf chanterait du rock”? I'd love that. Kitsch too, but it works anyway. Maybe 'cause the lyrics are true:Elle hurlerait à pleine sono,Son Homme à la Moto ! Oxygène is a cover, so touchy topic here... I'm still hoping for Elle, a very beautiful song, and it's not such out there an idea, considering it was part of the Olympia setlist, that she dug up from a 85 album. Elle is brilliant, though sadly lost on non-French speakers, and not a song you can really translate because of all the puns, rhymes and alliteration. I'm surprised it doesn't get mentioned more often - it's really one of a kind. And Priere Paienne I don't find to be kitsch at all. I don't see how any of JJG's songs can be considered such. Now, some songs on Encore un Soir... that's a different story. 2 Quote
