maybe those songs will be replaced by new ones, when the album is out

I hope Celine brings back "Priére Paienne" back for the French leg.

I've been saying this for a while! It's such an upbeat and dance-able song, it would break the slow and almost melancholy vibe of her other songs. It could possibly be too much for her though, since the large majority of the song is high notes and sustained belting. She keeps recycling her "old" songs and it gets annoying. Remember when she said her and her team spent hours listening to the back list tracks of all her albums? Apparently all she got from that was If You Asked Me To and The Prayer (which I think are both very mediocre songs). She gave us TWO "rare" songs after spending hours listening to her music! Disappointing.

Team Céline. I think you should now ask your creative team to make a creative visuals for Imperfections. Then, after that include the Imperfection song to her current setlist. But this song will be great if there are dancers.

Oh, no, Prière Païenne is sooo kitsch!

It was fun at the time, but it aged poorly.

 

I'd prefer En attendant ses pas, which was a succesfull radio promotional single in France (though every one forgot it now lol) or L'abandon. She never sang them and they don't have high notes. Even if En attendant ses pas should probably be lowered.

Je cherche l'ombre could provide a beautiful intimate moment.

 

I'd die for Si je n'ai rien de toi or Si j'étais quelqu'un!

 

For uptempo songs, why not Des mots qui sonnent ? Same period as IYAMT.

That’s a bit crazy. I mean the VIP Lanyard is pretty pointless now, you want to wear it at the show 🙄. I think they should go back to collection at the venues or at least have it shipped to the recipient prior to the show.

Actually... I did. I knew that Christine and the Queens was singing "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" a capella with the crowd during her last tour, so I was really disappointed because she didn't sing it in Paleo festival where I saw her.

I wish she would sing OOR in Europe. At least in Finland it's a bit more obscure than TT, but still a hit. It was the first song I ever heard from Celine, and it made me fall in love with her voice straight away. I was about ten at the time - feels like yesterday

I'm still hoping for Elle, a very beautiful song, and it's not such out there an idea, considering it was part of the Olympia setlist, that she dug up from a 85 album.

 

Elle is brilliant, though sadly lost on non-French speakers, and not a song you can really translate because of all the puns, rhymes and alliteration.

I'm surprised it doesn't get mentioned more often - it's really one of a kind.

 

And Priere Paienne I don't find to be kitsch at all. I don't see how any of JJG's songs can be considered such.

 

Now, some songs on Encore un Soir... that's a different story.
