To me, it's the low-light. That, and I'm Alive. Replace those two, and you'd have yourself a solid setlist.

Anyway, here's a review -

Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

TTWII is definitely one of the highlights of the show!! She has been nailing it. My only wish is they moved it to the end of the show before the final encore.... it was a huge hit and we need more of those to close the show. I leave wanting more when it’s a medley full of covers, followed by her biggest hit ( MHWGO), followed by another cover (Imagine) to end the show. If she wants to do the medley fine, we can’t stop it lol... but it shouldn’t in any way be the final numbers before the encores; even ABM would be a better choice.

Yes I hope she sing it in France ...

We love you Céline!

on t'aime Céline!

Oh, wow. Really?

It's really more of a factual recap than a review. Not much of a read. But here you go:

"After conquering Vegas, Celine Dion towers over Enterprise Center in concert

Queen Celine, also known as Celine Dion, reigned over St. Louis Saturday night at Enterprise Center in a welcome return to the city after a decade-long absence while she conquered Las Vegas.

“I made it to the city of the Stanley Cup Championship,” she said, commenting it had been way too long, a full decade, since she'd been in St. Louis and she'd needed to fix that. She joked she’d been lost in the Las Vegas desert all that time.

“What do you think champs? Are you ready to have a good time tonight?,” she asked the full house. The obvious question with its equally obvious response amounted to nearly two hours of Dion, who reminded us what a vocal powerhouse she remains, not that we’d come close to forgetting.

The show was an early stop on her near year-long “Courage World Tour,” allowing her to brush off the Vegas dust and perform for her fans on their terms once again.

Silently rising from beneath the stage amid a cavalcade of applause and screams, she graciously took it all in before launching into her first song “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” one of her many signature power ballads that set the tone for the show that included some expected but necessary anthems such as “The Power of Love,” “To Love You More,” “I’m Alive,” “Love Can Move Mountains” and “All By Myself.”

She was accompanied by a 16-piece band including small horn and string sections under the direction of pianist Scott Price. The players were gradually revealed amid swirling video panels during the opening song and “That’s the Way It Is.”

Amid several dynamic costume changes, a splashy video display and her quirky humor, Dion never failed to wow the crowd with her just-enough vocal bombast.

After telling fans she was going to take them way back in time, she gave them for her cover of Patti LaBelle’s “If You Ask Me To,” released by Dion in 1992. Dion’s version continues to give LaBelle a run for her money.

She performed “Beauty and the Beast,” which she described as one of her most memorable duets, with one of her backing singers who was a fitting substitute for Peabo Bryson. Keeping it in duet mode, she approached “The Prayer,” recording with opera great Andrea Bocelli, single-handedly. “Let’s give it a try. I hope you like it” she said before knocking it out. “Andrea, where are you?” she jokingly asked at song’s end with a slight pout.

Dion asked for the crowd’s help on her cover of Australian singer John Farnham’s “You’re the Voice,” which she said can be a powerful anthem if everyone participates. She utilized her backing singers to help the crowd with its part. Honestly, it was a lot of set-up for song that felt unspecial.

She made another nod to the St. Louis Blues in introducing change-of-pace song “Tour les blues sont ecrits pour toi,” which she said was “some English and French blues just for you.”

A covers medley just before the encore proved to be a mixed bag. It initially looked like a tribute to fallen greats as she took on David Bowie’s “Let's Dance,” Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” and Prince’s “Kiss,” but no Aretha Franklin somehow though she was the best thing about the tribute event for the Queen of Soul. The medley continued with LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” and Ike & Tina Turner’s “River Deep — Mountain High.” She proved not everyone, regardless of how big the talent, can do every song. “Another One Bites the Dust” was a win, while the Turner gem has always held well in Dion's hands. “Kiss,” carried over from the Vegas show, was a no here, stripped of what made it great.

Dion saved her “Titanic”-sized hit “My Heart Will Go On” for the encore, and decorated the song stunningly as firefly-like drone lights swirled around her. It was a beautiful moment of concert staging.

In closing, Dion said she wanted to leave the crowd with a message of peace and harmony with a song fans would know well. What else would it be but “Imagine,” performed splendidly in a proof of a fluffy white gown with just she and Price."

I think maybe instead of critiquing people who have been on here for years, doing something everyone on here does (song acronyms). Maybe ask politely what it is? Or maybe just guess or adapt? Its not gonna change either way. Also, your profile says youve been a member for 2 years? If so.. not exactly new

critiquing? So any suggestion is a critic? I am not the only one on this forum who said that we don’t like song acronyms. Yes I have been a member since 2 years but I still have to search your song acronym when you talk about a song. You don’t want to adapt ? Ok fine! Some of you already write the full or part of the name song.. thank you for that. But It was just a suggestion not a critic. You removes the urge to write a comment...

If asking what an acronym means is really such a bother to you, I’m sorry to say it but I don’t think this is the proper forum for you. You’re just going to be incredibly frustrated all the time. We’ve all had to ask at some point or another something like, “What is TRIGO?” because we can’t figure it out and someone will kindly reply with “The Reason I Go On.” And we smack our heads and go “D’oh!”

I just watched last night’s performance of RDMH and it was perfect!!! The only songs she seemed to have problems with last night were “Lying Down” and “If You Asked Me To”.

Sometimes i ask them if I don’t know the acronym. But sometimes i go to my phone and look for the song for that acronym. :)

Some song titles are just too long. Like IACBTMN = It’s All Coming Back To Me Now

Even céline. She don’t say My Heart Will Go On when doing rehearsals (setlist). She calls it “The Titanic”. Because it’s shorter lol

thank you for your answer. I appreciate it. That’s a good idea to check on my phone. I understand that some title are too long. Telling me to go was not a nice answer!

Are you guys really arguing about acronyms? yes we use them but most people know its acceptable to do them for songs regularly in show and talked about but for non singles and songs that have never been sung before its ridiclous. Maybe she'll add PET in for holiday shows...oh, you don't know that? No s***, its promenade en traineau. Just an example. I wouldn't start saying LM because she sang lady marmalade a few times. It's a bit short. AOBTD is mildly obvious due to amount of letters. I mean, situationally you just gotta think about if its obvious or not lol

I’m glad since the premiere of this world tour she’s doing the normal/original humming at the end of MHWGO :)

Well, LMBTL is my least played album on iTunes/Apple Music. TC is better (for me) and now I think Courage album will change that :)
