Well my diamond vip stuff arrived today. The overall presentation and appearance is nicer than europe two years ago. I think the book may be the same as the show program, i need to look more closely but the cover is different. Much of the inside looked sinilar.

 

Rest of contents incluse a scarf, a pin, a pen, a bracelet, a bookmark (should have been a dual bottle opener),a portfolio of sketches, a journal, and a lanyard.

I'm absolutely in love with this! They did a really good job w/these this time around. Wasn't expecting the scarf. That's a nice addition. :wub:

Yeah Atlanta would be a good option . I think dj tonight ...she gets on stage at 8:10 so there’s like 40 min dj set

Can't we somehow make use of them and make them protest for a better setlist? 😎

 

 

 

 

 

Oh good Lord. These nuts are everywhere. They protest fallen soldier's funerals and pretty much anything you can think of. :down: :doh: They do tend to come in large #'s when they show up and make a scene. I'm curious to see what they yell at the conert-goers for being there :hmm:

This just makes me sad and reminds me of how greedy the promoter was for the Manila concert last year. VIP tix were sold for almost 800 each and the promoter didn't even bother to include VIP kits or freebies.

Finally...going to post my thoughts of the world tour.

 

 

This was my very first anglophone show on tour for me, but the 12th time I have seen her. Truth be told, the set list didn't excite me before I went. But I love Celine like a member of my family, like many of you, so when she goes on tour...I go, I cannot believe how fast the show went by. I looked at the setlist online and was shocked that so little was left. That said, the medley really dragged on for me. I didn't enjoy it. But out of the whole show, that's the only low point for me. That said, people were up out of their chairs dancing like crazy. They crowd really seemed to love it. Also, as much as I hate to admit, I really did enjoy "You're The Voice." Visually the show is absolutely stunning. And Celine looked great.

 

Overall she was in excellent voice, A few bum notes here and there, but overall smooth. Her performance of "The Prayer" was probably the most in awe I have ever been of her. Wow. And the audience seemed really into it. Celine is best as a solo artist...no gimmicks or duets needed. For such a rocky start to the tour, I admit I was nervous that she had really damaged her voice. But this show proves that the voice is intact...though not as perfect as it once was, she is still the best female vocalist out there today. There have been moments in the last year where I've found her voice particularly shrill, but Saturday she sounded smooth and beautiful.

 

Can't wait to see her in Atlanta and then in Paris! Already praying for a DVD,

 

I AGREE With this whole post.

 

I hated “you’re the voice” going in and I was very vocal about it here beforehand... then when I saw her in Cleveland last week she made me eat my words, because I really enjoyed it; the staging and lights even were really beautiful for it.

 

Also was worried about her voice, but of all the shows I have seen from her, I was surprised this was the strongest, most angelic and beautiful I have seen her vocal condition, so crystal clear and STRONG... just like how I love my diva to sound!

 

Also After what they say in the media, and all the pictures of Celine’s body type I was expecting her to be very frail and small instead she looked so strong and really good with that new hair. The hair needs to stay this way, she looks so much younger and classy.

 

I considered selling my ticket when I saw the French setlist, and a few people here like (Luke, I think)...said no don’t do it, I’m so glad that I went.

For me this show was way better than her last Vegas show even tho the setlist was similar, it felt like a totally brand new and fresh show.

I got the program and this crew neck sweatshirt ... I saw one one of her band members wore the really cute sweatshirt with the cities on the sleeves (100 bucks I think ). They have cups and keychains too.

I almost forgot Céline has been having pitch problems for about 5 years.

 

They are completely gone, I'm so happy! I guess surgery did work out,even if the first months were also hard for her.

 

I don't care if her middle belts crack, or if she sounds nasal here and there, she's pitch perfect again!!

The mug for sure is 20 dollars ... the bottle I think was either 25 or 30 it was in another glass section that I couldn’t see well .

Great to hear you enjoyed the show!! And that Céline still has 'THE VOICE'. I still have to catch up on IYAMT and TP, cos I have been on holiday. I do hope some of the same old same old songs get cut once Courage is released. And I still don't get why FOMO is out! :doh:
