Live in Memphis, we don't have it on DVD? Do we? I believe I have it on VHS somewhere but have I recorded it from TV or is there an official vhs? I know KVG = Katso Vittu Googlesta = Just F**king Google It..

Yes, wouldn't that be spectacular! I absolutely loved Edison :wub: She looked great in just the clothes she had on. No rushing to change, just simple! I don't think she would go for that in Vegas though????? I think she thinks that the audience wants to see the changes. (could be totally wrong though)

I love Edison too! To be part of such an up close and personal concert would be a dream!! I'm soooo hoping she does something like that again! Although I don't know how I'd cope haha!

I wonder if she will wear Dolce and Gabbana anymore in light of their comments in relation to IVF. I am not saying she should or shouldn't or that she would need to (or even should) address it like other celebrities have (it is an extremely private issue, and certainly not our business. ). I just wonder if she will wear them anymore.

Sinead O’Connor should probably (and I can’t believe I’m about to say this) take a leaf out of Celine Dion’s book. Like 90% of the world, Celine is not a massive fan of her biggest hit My Heart Will Go On. In a 2013 interview with Jonathan Ross, the French-Canadian diva revealed that she didn’t want to sing the song and that she didn’t really like it at first. She famously said that if she stops and thinks about how many times she has sung it, it would make her sick.

 

She said to Ross, “I’m gonna die with this song, and, honestly, it’s a good problem to have”, and then admitted that a lot of the time she simply doesn’t feel like performing it. ”Then the curtain opens and I look at the people’s faces and they’re like [insert hilarious gawking Celine face here] and they make it happen … I get caught up in it and I’m like ‘Oh my god, you travelled so far’.”

Celine understands that four minutes a night is a small price to pay for her fans’ years of loyalty (and a small price to pay so that she can store her 3000 pairs of shoes in her $71 million Florida home/water park).

It's a kind of doll where the head is huge - way bigger in proportion to the body than it ordinarily would be. And the head is loosely connected to the body, so if you tap it, it kind of bobbles around. You're really not missing much - they're nothing special!

I checked AXS, and there are tickets still available in the front orchestra and rear orchestra for opening night.

 

I am sure she will sell tickets. She has enough fans. It may just be a slow start. Her show doesn't kick off for a couple of months.

 

I hope for her sake, people at CP, and everyone her show might help (in terms of bringing people to Vegas), that it does well. Personally, I liked her music when I was growing up. I just wouldn't book a trip to Vegas around her show, because, deserved or not, she has a reputation for showing up late and/or not at all. Plus, live performances haven't been great lately (not trying to be mean. Like I said, I was a fan when I was younger and still occasionally listen to some of her songs). Maybe people just want to see how the first few shows go.

I don't get it. :shrug: Veronic Dicaire does that same thing when she impersonates Celine, she uses this strange twang to her voice. Now Ariana Grande does it in her impersonation. What do they hear that I don't, because what they do sounds really bad. Please impersonators, stop the twang sound.

I think it's because her voice is far to hard or impossible for anyone to actually mimic her. So to refrain from humiliating themselves in the futile attempt of "impersonating" her, they use this twang or choked-up sound because that's what everyone thinks she's doing because she's French-Canadian.

It's annoying, but, at least Ariana and Veronic expressed how much they love her and how her voice IS incomparable.

Ariana did say Celine was her favorite singer and fashion idol.

I know! I don't understand it either. They all do the same thing....

It's as if they impersonnate some of the very early 90's impersonators of Celine, but never Celine.

I think Celine's voice is so unique, no one can immitate it.

They trully all suck.
