I was at the Long Island concert on 9/18!!! Front row right at the piano corner. It was AMAZING (I was also at Newark 9/12, and Madison Square Garden (with Charice) 9/15)

What is so funny is that I knew most of the songs from the Password show on Fallon. I too felt she didn't quite get it, but it was awesome anyway.

THERE'S A 100% ENGLISH VERSION OF BE THE MAN?!?!?! How did I not know this??? I only knew the part English/part Japanese one from The Collector's Series. Where is this from???? I LOVE IT!! :clap: :clap:

The English version of "Be The Man (On This Night)" is great. I do hope Celine will one day perform it live for her fans in Japan. (I wonder if this song was to be part of the cancelled/postponed Asian tour from last year?)

Maybe she could hire Nicole Coullier as her stylist, since they seem to shop together all the time. :laugh:

 

I think that would be perfect actually. Nicole has be shopping with Celine since the late 90's and must know, at this point what works for Celine and what doesn't. I know she might not be a professional designer, but they could shop together and throw around ideas. That's what they seem to do already anyways, so why not get paid for it. Between the two of them I think they would make a pretty good styling team.

 

I think it would just be nice if Celine decided to go with someone who really knows her. Knows what she is comfortable wearing and knows what her personal style is. Yes Annie Horth is a professional, but I think she styled Celine based on how Annie herself dresses, not how Celine dresses. I really do think that is why Celine and Annie's working relationship ended.

 

I know we will never know for sure what really happened, but I personally believe that they parted ways because Celine was sick of dressing like Annie Horth and not like herself and how she truly wanted to dress.

 

A professional stepping in is always nice, but I think it would also be nice for Celine to take time and try to find her own personal style again, without a stlyist telling her how she should dress and what they think her style should be.

 

About your question on what kind of panties Celine wears. I think I remember reading something once where Celine said she wears really nice underwear all the time, like those lace kind that the Victoria's Secret models wear. When Celine is performing though she wears underwear that look like shorts and they usaully match the colour of her outfit.

 

You can see the underwear that she wears onstage in some of her Taking Chances Tour pics. Celine does some kicks in the air while wearing her short pink dress, in the Taking Chances tour and there are pics of her performing underwear online.

 

Apparently when she's not performing though, she wear the really nice lace underwears all the time. I don't remember where I heard that, but I defenitely saw it somewhere before.

This morning I was listening to Celine in my office at work. All The Way nice loud and clear. haha At lunch time, one of my co-workers (in his 80s) left to grab a bit to eat and said that he was surprised to see me "rocking out" while working. He came back after lunch, had to grab another younger co-worker - as a witness- as he asked me if I was "rocking out" earlier. With a big smile on my face, I said, "I was enjoying the music, yes! But I don't know if I was "rocking out". I mean the music is...isn't like "rocking out" material." The younger co-worker chuckling responded the music was not in the same category as Metallica, huh? The older co-worker asked who I was listening to, and when told, said he never heard of Celine! When I said that Celine is the Barbra Streisand of our generation (pointing to my other coworker), the older one said, "Oh, I hate her!" The younger coworker quickly tried to clarify that it's in vocal and music style the similarity lies and not in politics. Anyways, just thought it was funny since I don't consider Celine to be "rocking out" music. lol Edited by Frenchie

I think that is why she is still in perfect shape after having her babies. Or does she have a personal trainer who trains her each day? Anyone?

Celine made an "appearance" in the new Mall Cop 2 movie. It was such an inside joke that I was the only one laughing inside the theater. Ana Gasteyer, who played Celine skits on SNL, is in the movie and wears a Celine shirt twice! First time it's a white t shirt with the photo from alix malka shoot (the cover of LMBTL album) with a pink velour suit and MhWGO type jewelry (heart of the ocean etc) and the second time it was a sequined tank top from the boutique with celine in her gold RDMH dress . Too funny!!!

I couldn't find the picture in the tank top.

Hi everyone, i have a question about something i found on ebay, a live album called Command Performances. Has anyone ever heard about this release ? I bet this is not an official release as some song titles aren't spelled the right way. But I would be curious to hear My Heart Will Go On live from Los Angeles 1998 and the songs recorded in Paris in 1996.

In the video that you posted above, Celine says that she works with a trianer on her days off. I wonder if she was reffering to this woman?

This is Leena Patel. Leena worked with Celine and trained her for the A New Day show.

 

I wonder if this woman is still Celine's trainer now and if Celine still even has a trainer. Celine might have just hired a trainer to help her get back into the groove of being onstage night after night, so soon after having the twins.

 

I am curious to know if Celine was reffering to Leena Patel in that video and if she still works with her?

 

I think the main reason that Celine works with a trainer, does stretches and gets her shoulders and spine worked on is because of the time Celine got hit by a car when she was a little girl. I heard that it bent her spine. Celine brobably has to do all those stretches and have her spine tweeked often.

 

That might explain why Celine looks taller these days. I know she wears heels, but there is a difference is her height and I think it has alot to do with her stretching and spine and shoulder work that she gets done.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was just during AND show. Know Celine did cardio and yoga/stretching cos of the show being energetic. And also because of the size of the stage and her quick changes etc. It helps her breathing/lung capacity on stage.

No idea if that's the trainer though. Or if Celine still does it now.
