Yeah Charlie and Celine are both credited as backing vocals. I'd say she re recorded them cos the demo is a different from fragments that I ve heard.

 

Oh did she? Maybe that's why Celine recorded that song too :P

 

Don't know about that,haven't listened to charlie's version.

This is only somewhat related to Celine but I find this very interesting in relation to Celine. Apparently Mariah Carey's new las vegas residency at Caesars is being put together BOTH by Raj Kapoor and the guy who created Celine's latest show Ken Ehrlich. Raj Kapoor created Shania Twains show now he has done Mariah and now with Ken contributing to Mariahs both are involved for one show. I have mixed feelings on this...especially since both of them who each did ONE show have now come together to do the show for Mariah...interesting.....Celine had one director, Shania had one but mariah needs two directors that did both shanias and celines show? Eurovision 1988

 

A major turning point in Celine's international career was her 1st place finish at Eurovision on April 30th, 1988. She performed « Ne partez pas sans moi » which would eventually be included on the album « On ne change pas » while representing Switzerland. I was wondering if Celine has been to Britney's residency in Las Vegas ?

I remember that Britney came to AND in 2003.

 

 

I know that Celine sent Britney Spears a big thing of flowers on Briteny's opening night.

 

On a side note, I heard on t.v. a week or so ago that Reba has seen Celine's Vegas show many times. I find that really interesting. I wonder why we have never seen a pic with Celine and Reba backstage at Celine's Vegas show?

 

I found it very interesting anyways because I had know idea that Reba had even seen the show.

I'd like Celine to sing "I Hope You Find It" (This thought is totally unrelated to your post, except that Cher sings "I hope you find it" so it made sense in my mind).

Yeah Celine would have easily stepped it up to a different level! (I might be a bit biased though :-D ) Back to Burlesque, I love the song "Welcome to Burlesque" Celine would have brought it out for that also...... Oh well, water under the bridge. Edited by DionFanAlways

I simply loved what he did with Shania's show. For me Shania's show in Vegas was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I'd love it if Kapoor brought his ideas to Celine's team. Not that I want Celine to do a copy of Shania's show, but I think he could bring fresh ideas to the table.

LOL Del, why not. Someone's got to. I loved that movie. It would have worked fantastically well vocally, but not conceptually. Here's why. Cher is the older, not so current/popular diva. Celine is younger and would perhaps not be as able to play the wise advisor to Christina A's character. They're very similar, whereas Christina and Cher are different stylistically and in other ways. I would have been quite content with it though had Celine done it. And I don't know the other song you're talking about that Cher did, but I'll go look it up!

The dress, the hair, the gestures and the scenery too... I think it's one the best music videos she's ever done, one I would proudly show to non-fans.
