This is true. Sometimes I felt she was "not there" and just trying to rush to get home! Something catastrophic had to happen to make her snap out of it! (Well I take that back, a fight broke out and she didn't even stop :sofunny: )

 

 

Happened to me several times.... I felt...cheated.... 😡 like that one time when she rushed through the show pretty much cutting out all band interaction and I believe Ne Me Quitte Pas to make it to the party (can't remember the occasion but it was June 15th 2013 where she was photographed on the balcony at Pure in a Blue gown with some Caesars big wig).... 😕

she mention to us, that there are stairs she goes up but once she's up they take them away. So she was stuck on this platform that was up in the air and couldn't get down. She said she could jump down but with the slit in her dress we might get more than we bargained for. Lol. Anyway it was eventually decided not to try and star Overjoyed again and they brought the stairs back to get her off the platform. The stairs are in the back so you don't actually see them.

Oh that's pretty cool! :)

There was Celine stuck on a lift with no where to go. Lol. I loved it, it was so funny and she entertained us with a rendition of rescue me.

 

That is hyyyysterical, Lmfaooooooo. I would have paid top dollar for that

There's been so much talk lately about Letterman's last show . . the only bits of the Letterman show I've ever seen were the ones Celine was on, but every time someone mentions Letterman, I think of the things I've read (I think in the '97 Germain biography) about how Celine didn't have the greatest experiences on Letterman - that he wasn't that warm to her -- and in the '97 appearance, which was I think the day after she won the Album of the Year Grammy, she performed but Letterman didn't leave any time to interview her, and Rene got really mad and told off Letterman's production/research team. I guess he found it insulting, especially because Letterman had said something at the beginning of the show like, "A Grammy? Who wants to win that?"

 

So now when I hear all these people giving accolades to Letterman and talking about how great he is, all I can think is, "Eh, he wasn't so nice to Celine" :(

 

Nonetheless, this '94 performance of RDMH was sensational -- before that song had been done to death:

This is an exemplary vocal performance! She should have stopped singing LCMM & RDMH in the FIY tour. This way we would feel some nostalgia for them.

ABC is going to have 'Celebrity Family Feud' coming on. Would she? Knowing her fondness for game shows it wouldn't be too far fetched.

That would be funny, I'd watch it.

 

There's this other show, this celebrity lip sync battle and I would so watch her do that. She could do some air guitar or something lol

I recently finished reading that biography and I agree with you, but it's also true that Letterman sent flowers to Celine afterwards, to avoid any misunderstanding and bad relationship between them.

She's hilarious in this video. :sofunny: But I despise the fact that she has to go back to the scripted dialogue at the end there though. It sounds so out of place, and she even sounds completely monotone like she's completely bored of it. I hope this section is gone when she returns in August.

It was lovely and amazing to see celine last weekend..... But now I'm ready to hear her sing..... I can't wait untill I finally hear her voice again!

 

What will it be like? Has it changed at all? I just can't wait to find out
