That's exactly what I thought !

We all know that Celine and Britney are totally different performers, so no need for him to get inspirations from Britney herself.

But inspirations for visuals, scenography, lightings, and so on, why not ?

I was listening to AND and all I can say is I LOVE her voice in it's present tone now. What a difference! I love it and can't wait to see/hear what her future holds for this upcoming run in Vegas! :wub: Edited by DionFanAlways

I'm pretty sure she meant the show... Her voice was in its worst shape during the recording of the live album.

 

+ She'd say ''ANDHC'' if she talked about the studio album. (I feel like a geek now)!

I am actually happy if aldo did go to get some inspiration from Britney's show. I watched few videos on youtube, and her visuals are spectacular. Even more amazing then celine's i must say.

Yes her voice was so...... IDK. Worn out and nasal. But I believe her worst was '08. As for NOW, her voice is fantastic,at it's best I would say besides the 93–95 era. She kinda sounds like post-'99 hiatus.

2008 was bad but not early 2008 because she sounded great during the first leg of the tour, especially in Africa. Then it is a whole different story, I am still wondering why they recorded her performance in Boston... Her voice was very thin and nasal during the soft verses of the songs, she had lost her clarity. It was a wrong move, in my opinion, mostly due to the fact that she covered some classic songs like Show Must Go On, Alone and It's A Man's World and didn't sing them as well as she did during the early period of the tour. The best performances of these songs should have been presented to the general public.

 

Right now she keeps getting better. I was impressed by her belting during the LMBTL era, especially with the clips of her singing LMBTL and MHWGO in the bathroom. She was in top shape! I knew she'd give us many good moments when she returned back in 2011 and sang ''Lullaby'' live on Oprah. Her voice was rich, soft and clear. It was evident she had taken care of it, it was very restful.

 

It is pretty safe for me to say that if she keeps taking care of her voice and starts vocal lessons again she'll remain in good shape for many years!

The composer of the music for the film Titanic, James Horner, does not understand why Celine Dion has already said she did not like the song My Heart Will Go On the first time she heard it.

In an interview with French website PureCharts , to talk about the Titanic concert to be held at the Paris Convention Centre in late June, Horner has remembered the first time he had played his piece to the Quebec singer.

Hmm. Maybe he is just a bit shocked? She has said that she didn't want to do it before though so I don't know why this would be news to him??

I think it's all a matter of interpretation. Celine didn't directly tell him or show him that she doesn't like the song. So he didn't really know it. As she said herself, she just made some gestures to Rene while he was playing the song to them and singing along :D

The odd thing is that I've only seen this story in French publications. Its likely a translation of something, but I wonder where the original came from. We don't really know exactly what he said, so I wouldn't call him rude yet. Edited by chocolatechip15

Without Celine MHWGO would be a steaming pile of poop. Her fame carried that song. She was the biggest star on the planet even before they asked her to do the song. I remember... I lived through it!!! Arrrghhhhhhhhh. James Horner needs a punch in the face. Edited by incognito

I totally agree, her voice now is lovely, a lot nicer than the past few years. It seems to me that she can manage to sing more lower notes than before. If a person can say her voice has "mellowed"?? beautifully. Stunning voice now. For me, the best she has ever sounded. :wub: :wub: :wub:

I also wonder when and where she got her drivers licence. She never mentioned that at all and we know that she drives.
