Hi everyone, i have a question about something i found on ebay, a live album called Command Performances. Has anyone ever heard about this release ? I bet this is not an official release as some song titles aren't spelled the right way. But I would be curious to hear My Heart Will Go On live from Los Angeles 1998 and the songs recorded in Paris in 1996.

100% fake. Like you say the wrong spellings of the song titles is a clear giveaway. I particularly like how "Misled" has been re-named "Just Another Page In My History." LOL :mdr:

 

Anyway, I'd imagine the songs that you've highlighted are probably as follows. Pretty sure "My Heart Will Go On" live in Los Angeles in 1998 would be Celine's performance at the Oscars that year. Widely available on Youtube.

 

As for the songs live in Paris i'm pretty sure all of them come from when Celine appeared on French TV show "Mon Taratata A Moi" in November 1996. All of the performances can be viewed on their website: http://www.mytaratat...ves    with the exception of the duet with Bryan Adams so I've uploaded that one for you here. :) :flowers:

Josh Groban is on The One Show(UK) and they asked him about Celine! I heard the presenter say Celine Dion and I rushed out of the kitchen to the living room to watch! He was talking about singing with her for the first time and how nervous he was. He mentioned how sweet she was. I'll try and get a clip if possible :) Very good publicity! The One Show is very popular.

I like some of Josh's music. My favourite song is probably Remember When It Rained. It was nice to hear Josh talking about her again.

That is the conclusion of this article, which relates the sad truth about fans no longer able to find traces of Celine Dion in her native Quebec.

The globe and her childhood home in Charlemagne are definitely off the list of things to do when fans visit Montreal/ Quebec.

I do think that it is a bit of an exaggeration though. There are still several Celine related places in Quebec and just because the house and globe are gone from Charlemagne it's still worth a visit if you're a fan.

Celine's new musical director, Scott Price mentioned that he is going to be meeting with Celine, early to mid April. I wonder if we are going to get any new information or pictures soon?

Speaking of the Command Performance CD..I actually own this cd..it was sent to me by a fellow fan many years ago, but where did this cd come from? It has all kinds of songs misspelled but it is basically the entire live in memphis performance on cd with a few bonus live tracks at the end from the oscars and with bryan adams. Were these fan made cds many years ago? Or were they made only for a limited time?

Yeah I have it to. I always thought it was fan made by someone in Asia. But I may be remembering that wrong. I only got it for the extra live tracks lol

I just went looking on her official site and i saw it has a wallpaper with a repeating text - my heart will go on and the lyrics of the song...as if my heart will go on is her only song. Stupid. Can't help saying it, but the design looks cheap for a official site

I love this!! My favorite is I'm Rock N Roll, Hear Me Roar and I'm fabulous. LOL! Heartbroken is MHWGO... Sans the tissue. You know cause she pounds her chest. :giggle:
