Celine did an MSN chat in 2002. I'm sure I've seen a transcript of it, but I can't find it now. She talked about choosing the songs for ANDHC.

Edited to add: I think that's the interview where someone asked if she would be working with David Foster on the new album (I think it was right before ANDHC came out) and she said, Yes, because she loves working with him -- but then his name wasn't on the album. Another piece of the I Surrender mystery.

Celine did an MSN chat in 2002. I'm sure I've seen a transcript of it, but I can't find it now. She talked about choosing the songs for ANDHC.

Interesting though how it worked.

This morning I was driving and I listened to the radio the Ed Sheeran's song "Thinking out loud"... And I thought that a cover of this song by Céline would be amazing!! I mean... Not for a new album because I hope for new songs and no more covers, but as a performance on a tv special... That would be great!!.. Also as a duet! What do you think?

It could work! You're right! I'm fine with covers on the album... But not when they're with the Vegas show that's mostly covers ... *cues Lullaby, HDYKTMP, Overjoyed, At 17*. I realllly wanted new songs on the deluxe LMBTL, but whatever. At least we got the amount we did, more then half!

I love HDYKTMP and Paganini. And Live and Let Die,cos it's my favourite Bond song and uses the orchestra. But all the others I could've done without.

Thanks. :) Does Nicole Coullier work for Celine? They shop together alot. Maybe she helps her with her styling?

I'm just wondering, the house that Celine and Rene were having renovations done to a couple of years ago, does anyone know what the house looks like. I have never seen anything of the new house. Anybody seen any pictures? Am just interested.

LOL, I can't believe I didn't know this! It's not on the American version of LTAL - more proof that Sony doesn't like the US! Whenever I saw the song listed anywhere, I always assumed it was the Japanese one that's on Collector's series. So excited to have found this now!

I have seen many pics of what looks to be Celine and Nicole Coullier shopping together, but I can only find this pic of them shopping on the left.

Judging from the picture on the left of Celine shopping with a woman and the picture on the right of Celine with Nicole Coullier, it sure looks like the same person to me. I see them shopping together alot. Not so much recently, but I have seen pics of them shopping together since the late 90's.

I see them shopping together alot. Not so much recently, but I have seen pics of them shopping together since the late 90's.

I know there are more pics, but I can't seem to find them. There are pics of them shopping in the late 90's, where Celine is wearing a bandana and black leather pants.

 

There is also a video on youtube of them shopping. I don't know how to post the link but it's called: Celine Dion always friendly to the press and her fans - and that goes double when s.

 

It's kind of a long title, but if you just type Celine Dion shopping, it will come up. It's the video where Celine went to a whole bunch of designer stores in one day.

TCOML = Just Walk Away

FIY = Natural Woman & Your Light

LTAL = Amar Haciendo el Amor and Be The Man (English version)

ANDHC = Superlove

Japanese TC = Map To My Heart & Reason I Go On

Japanese LMBTL = Open Arms

 

Hope you know all these songs now! :D

I love the Ed Shirren song mentioned. I think on a TV special people want/expect/deserve one of her own songs, but a duet between her and Ed...yes please. The lyrics sooooooo apply to her and I could see their voices blending fabulously. Would so love that what a great suggestion/idea! Love it.

I would love for Celine to do this bit with James Corden if she ends up doing promo before the re-launch of the show. I could see her having a lot of fun with it, and it would be great for the US audience to see her doing something a bit silly and goofy, since that's such a fun part of her personality.

Yeah, just loosen up a bit. I'm afraid it's just the same ole same ole all the time. I did like when she did the password game on Fallon. (but I don't think she understood the game/rules completely) This was great, thanks :) Never seen him before.

Yeah, I got the same impression about when she played Password on Fallon. It was fun, but it felt like she wasn't 100% sure of how to play (actually, they all seemed a bit confused about it). And I think people have said it before, but it would be fun to see her do a "Classroom Instruments" bit with Fallon, too.
