celine4evauk Posted March 7, 2015 at 07:10 PM Posted March 7, 2015 at 07:10 PM Anyone else heard the ABYG demo on fb/soundcloud? Song is growing on me. 2
DionFanAlways Posted March 8, 2015 at 01:04 AM Posted March 8, 2015 at 01:04 AM (edited) I just got back from a road trip and listened to ANDHC, SA and LMBTL. Although I love them all and ANDHC is wonderful, I have to say I'm in love with her voice on the latter two. Yes, it lost some of the "pureness" and but I love the tone or "richness" of her voice now in the present form. Just my opinion of course (yeah it was a long trip) Edited March 8, 2015 at 01:24 AM by DionFanAlways 5 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Yes, it lost some of the "pureness" and but I love the tone or "richness" of her voice now in the present form. Just my opinion of course (yeah it was a long trip)I love the latter two, to. They're great. Although, ANDHC originally got me into Celine, so I've got a soft spot for it. One of my favorite English albums, not including that. I think it's just extremely well balanced (plus she was so rejuvenated after the break) 3 I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
sfbaysinger Posted March 8, 2015 at 04:34 AM Posted March 8, 2015 at 04:34 AM I'm not sure I agree with the loss of purity or what not, but sounds like a damn fun road-trip. Quick Reminder: in the US some of us put our clocks ahead one hour. So if you do that in your timezone, don't forget to set your clock ahead an hour before going to sleep. 1 L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

Yes, it lost some of the "pureness" and but I love the tone or "richness" of her voice now in the present form. Just my opinion of course (yeah it was a long trip)I disagree about the loss of "pureness". If anything, she uses it better and more now. Before it was just her actual tone and practically her primary voice (1990-2003). Of course it changed a little through those years, but was ultimately the same. Her '04-'09 voice was the least graceful and to me her worst years vocally. There's some great times in these years but her voice was completely changed here. However, 2010-2014, she began incorparating her mid-90s power with her late-90s pureness, along with her early '00s "grace" and finally her "now" tone. She uses a variety of voices now:*Pure Tone (Sil Suffisait D'aimer, Lullaby(Goodnight My Angel), On Ne Change Pas, Je Crois Toi, PQTME, At Seventeen, BATB, Incredible, Ben, ZIggy) *Rich Tone (Je Sais Pas, Dans Un Autre Monde, Parler a Mon Pere, Destin, Terre, All By Myself, Overjoyed) *Nasal Belting(Qui peut vivre sans amour, Celle qui m'a tout appris, Tout l'or des hommes, How Do You Keep the Music Playing, Mr. Paganini, L'amour Existe Encore) *Power Belting(River Deep Mountain High, Love Can Move Mountains, Loved Me Back To Life, Rolling In The Deep, J'irai où tu iras, Because You Loved Me, WDMHBN (ending), Regarde-Moi) *Raspy/Hoarse Voice(Water and A Flame, Didn't Know Love, Immensite) 3
SuperLove4Celine Posted March 8, 2015 at 06:11 AM Posted March 8, 2015 at 06:11 AM (edited) I still have yet to understand what the point was for Celine's team to upload the audio only "videos" to her VEVO/YouTube accounts. Especially the two Christmas songs. Talk about random! Angel2006 Posted March 8, 2015 at 08:23 AM Posted March 8, 2015 at 08:23 AM I hope someone can help me? I know this isn't really the place to talk about this, but it is the random topics section and I needed to post this where someone might see it and respond. I know I could have posted in the off topic section, but it's not very active and I'm hoping someone will see this because I'm kind of freaking out and need help with a ticket purchase question that's not related to Celine. I am going to New York in April and just purchased tickets to a Broadway play. In a panic, I chose to have my tickets sent to me by email because I didn't know which option to choose and I only had so much time. I didn't really want to choose that option but I didn't know what to do and I thought I didn't have any other choice. I got sent instructions with these rules on how I have to print the tickets a certain way and I don't even have a working printer. LOL. This is just a mess. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just call costumer service and ask them if I could have my tickets mailed to me instead? I don't know if it's to late to choose that option because I already went with the email option when I ordered the tickets. I just ordered them an hour ago though and I haven't even gotten my E tickets in my email yet. I hope someone can help me. Can I ask customer service to mail the tickets, or am I stuck with this option I picked?

Once you get the email, those are your tickets and you'll have to find a way to print them. You could sign in to your email at a friend's house who has a working printer, go to a store that does printing for people and do it there, etc. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a place where you can print your tickets. Good luck!

Good luck! Thanks for your reply. I tried calling and it was to late because they were already sent to my email. For the life of me, I don't know why I chose to have the tickets sent through email, but I have a few friends that might be able to help me out. I just hope I do it right. It says that I need to print it on a printer with at least a 300 dpi resolution. It also says to make sure that my email is set to view PDF attachments. Then it says, to view and print tickets, I will need Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher to view the PDF file. I have to print it on a friends computer and I just hope it all works out. Thanks for your help and advice! I like the idea of printing it off at a store because maybe they will have Adobe Acrobat that is 4.0 or higher and can set it to view PDF attachments better then a friend. I don't know what store I could go to though. Do you think Wal Mart or Shoppers Drug Mart would print it off for me? They would have to have my email though, so I think I will try a friend first. Both the friends I am thinking of work in a office, so I'm sure it will be fine. Sorry for taking up any of your time and sorry to other forum members for posting all this in this section of the site. I just thought it would be the best place to post for a fast reply because I was kinda freaking out. LOL.

Any company should have updated software and the ability to print. If not, try any sort of copying place, Kinko's for example, and they should be able to print them for you.

Most public libraries have computers where you can go on your email and print - either free or very cheap - like 10 cents a page.

I was just a little worried because I'm totally not good with email and most computer related things. LOL.
celinefanonline Posted March 9, 2015 at 12:06 AM Posted March 9, 2015 at 12:06 AM u know i just watched some singers doing their songs and covers in radio stations, especially there's more in UKand let me think Celine should have done some of these... sing few her songs (her recent album songs mostly) and maybe do 1 or 2 covers of other recent famous songse.g. she can do Diamond!, or Just the way you are or something recent!! this would actually promote album and make her kinda cool too Courage don't you dare fail me now!

I may be in the minority but I'm not crazy about Breakaway. ( I don't skip it but it's not like I have to hear it) When she goes for the top notes, I think she misses much of the clarity she had.... Maybe I'm just missing what she is going for with the song? For NW just plain and simple, not breathy, not raspy, just simple. 4 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

For NW just plain and simple, not breathy, not raspy, just simple. To me, some of the reduced clarity in Breakaway helps to convey the heartbreak and desperation in it . . .it's kind of the voice you'd expect someone to have after they'd been crying for awhile. I think it would come across a little less sincere if her voice were perfectly crystal clear. I also adore what she does with the low notes in that song . . .when she says, "Is it true what people say, that it's darkest before down," it just gets me, every time. Not even sure why. 3

The verses of Breakaway are very meaningful and I like her voice on those. I can understand that she was going for severe heartache with the choruses. I guess to me, it's a little too strained.
