Just saw this article on the Huffington Post comparing The Top Artists, Past And Present, By Vocal Range, thought it was pretty cool, just to be baffled that Celine is nowhere to be found on the interactive chart. I already wrote to concerthotels asking for her inclusion

Xavier Dolan has a new movie, Mommy released at Festival de Cannes, thre's mostly good critics and he uses a Celine song among otherrs.. go at the end if you want to read when they tal about it, impossible to just put a part of the article, sorry

I have a question and I'm sorry if somebody already spoked about it... Why the A New Day Has Come album isn't showing in the albums list in ITunes USA???

 

 

I am not sure of the answer, but it would not be the first time one of her albums has gone missing from iTunes USA. I find that her albums come and go on iTunes USA. A New Day Has Come will probably show up again in a week or so, just keep checking back.

RC will turn 18 in 2019 - probably going to college. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, though, as the twins will only be 9.

numerology...2019 = 3 new project creation, family takes a great place, life, love, generosity so she'll finish vegas and will have to do things with intelligence and discernement. . she won't sing just for the money after that. Prediction, see you in 5 years..

I used to be able to but can't anymore. But I love your enjoyment of singing anyway. I used to think I was like her in so many ways too but now I know I'm not.

The Sing For Sainte-Justine With Celine Dion Contest Was A Great Success!

 

 

Thank you to all the fans that helped support the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation by voting for their favourite choirs! An impressive $827,065 was raised for the ‘Healing More Better’ campaign! The names of the winning choirs have been revealed. They will get to sing alongside Celine at a private function at Sainte-Justine in July 2014.

The CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation is pleased to announce that the Sing for Sainte-Justine with Céline Dion contest has been a resounding success. Thanks to your generosity, an impressive $827,065 has been raised for the Foundation. This will be used to support research and promote healthcare excellence in Canada’s largest mother-child university hospital centre.

 

Our heartfelt thanks go out to our 174 participating choirs and 5,000 singers from across Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick, as well as the thousands of people who have supported them.

Of the 25 top-rated choirs, each of whom will receive a $1,000 prize courtesy of evenko, one has been named the “judges’ favourite”: Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval. Gregory Charles, Claude “Mégo” Lemay and Natalie Choquette unanimously selected this winner based on the quality of their stage presence and vocal performance.

The Chorale de l’Externat Mont-Jésus-Marie, from Montreal, an elementary school choir composed of 60 young singers, ranked in first place, with 18,027 ballots cast in their favour. Through this community effort, students, parents and staff paid tribute to Léa, a young Sainte-Justine patient whose mother works at the school and who is currently in remission from leukemia.

In July, the two winning choirs will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to share the stage and sing a song with Céline Dion. The private function at Sainte-Justine will be a very special moment for the choir members and a touching testament to their commitment toward Saint-Justine.

Congratulations once again and thank you to all our contestants for their tireless commitment to the cause. Together, you have joined your voices to those of children and mothers-to-be across Quebec and made them the best promise of all: the promise of a better, brighter and healthier future.

 

I really wonder which song the will be performing.... I'd hate it for them to be LCMM... LTAL would be amazing!! I hope this will be televised just like the 2007 Sainte Justine Special!

Mariah's new album seem to be headed to No. 1 with the strength of just over 60k copies... see what timing could really do. Releasing it with no other big releases for the week. If celine and mariah released their albums at the same time, celine could easily be claiming the top spot. Haha

Yesterday i took a short trip with my firends, one of them is 22 YO, i play LMBTl and incredible, and they sing along to these songs. I never thought they will know this song coz i never heard it on a radio. With no promotion and no radio play they still know these songs. FYI i never see any poster for this album even the small one. No one wil notice unless they looking for Celine's album. Edited by gafsa

Sorry, I know this isn't about Celine, but have you heard the song by One Republic called " Till the love runs out"? It was released here about a week ago. It is brilliant!! The beat to that song is fantastic. I go crazy when it is played on the radio. Anyway, just wanted to tell you about it.

It is a good song, and I'm not really a fan of their's but I like it a lot. They did it on The Voice finale. It does have a great beat. And about the post who talked about no album promotion/album play, that freaking sucks awfully. Poopeeeeeee! I know, I'm in a goofy mood today! And on a sad note, for those who do not know this, Maya Angelou has left us. Rest In Peace, Maya. Edited by sfbaysinger

no, I'm not a fan of theirs either, but this song is so good. I must see if the The Voice finale was on here last weekend, or now this weekend. Hope I have'nt missed it. Didn't know they were going to be on in the finale. I didn't watch it every week. Thanks for mentioning it. We are close behind you guys with viewing The Voice.

Question:

 

I found this forum just short of a year ago, when I was buying tickets to the Celine show in Vegas for the first time. Then, it wasn't long and LMBTL came out, and SA promotion stuff was going on, etc. So, since I found the board, there has been a lot going on in her career. My question is what happens to this message board in between projects? Does it basically become like a ghost town or does it stay somewhat active given that she is in Vegas and people have questions about the show?
