yeah I just went directly to that topic just after write my post... I love that song!! I'm planning to go to see Celine next year with my mom and she's trying to learn the songs (Celine's originals only) so she can enjoy the most. She will be happy if Celine keeps singing SSDA because NMQP it's just too difficult for her to learn! lol

A sign I have overdosed on Celine lately is the fact somebody just said to me "is that alright?" and I had to fight the urge to respond with "Yes...but... Is that alright Dublin? Is that alright Dubai?"

 

I need rehab.

Next time, please do not fight the urge. I just hope it is in public and people join in, that way it would be like some kind of Celine Dion flash mob, haha.

 

 

 

Embarrassing confession: If it makes you feel better, a while ago I had a dream where I was house hunting, and finally after making it to the home I wanted to tour, I looked on the counter of the home I was visiting and there were Celine Dion Forum name badges. I was told the owner was having a party there for some group. Immediately, I wanted to meet the owners, go to the party, and also move to that neighborhood. But, I woke up shortly thereafter. It was after that dream that I knew I needed to find a new default website to check randomly throughout the day. :giggle: Hello, my name is NicoNV and that is my story.

 

But about your rehab suggestion: maybe we could have like an in-treatment rehab if you are a Celine Dion fan, and some kind of out-patient program for people who check the forum too often.

 

 

*nothing in here is intended to cause offense or make light of actual addiction. Thought maybe I should add this edit in advance before someone jumps up and down about it.

I can't escape Celine. Everyone working in my office loves Celine. We have Celine in-jokes. Eek.

I don't know why but... everybody who knows me also knows I'm a Celine fanatic!!!! I don't know why?! I mean, I just sing everyday at everytime celine's songs, and I'm always checking the forum at work... and my facebook page... hmm.. ok... now I know...

Def leppard in vegas last year and likely in 2014 played an entire album. To celebrate successful albums and as it had been 25 odd years since the release etc. They included a few other songs too. What if celine were to do this? What album would you love to hear in its entirety? You can pick one English and one French.

Mine would be TCOML - how it all started for me and I'd get to hear Next Plane Out, and SSDA -Je Chanterai, L'abandon and others I could die happy!

They could do an On Ne Change Pas / Acoustic Night, with all the old songs included in the ONCP compilation, acoustic duets with Garou, J Jaques and Il Divo would be great!

 

Also, next year will be "D'eux" 20th anniversary, and a live special at the Colosseum with orchestral and acoustic versions could be the best way to celebrate. It must include a Celine & Jean Jacques MEGA MEDLEY and a SUPER-MEGA-MAJESTIC- performance of PQTME with full orchestra and band (as they did in Sur Les Plaines, but better than that), Les 500 choristes (if you want lol) and... I mean... whatever it takes to make it SPECIAL, UNIQUE and BREATHLESS...After that, a collectible BluRay/DVD+CD pack would be awesome!!! It could be named "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore: A night to remember" or something like that but in french... Bonus features could be: Making of (since the very beginning of the project, behind the scenes, rehearsals, and a full interview with, Celine, René, Jean Jaques, Garou, etc....

 

AM I ASKING TOO MUCH? :blush:

That would be great!. Every artist is different, some prefer the big stage, some the intimate setting. I wonder, which is her preference?

I think it's a little bit of both. She loved the AND show, but when the Edison ballroom concert came around, she said she liked that kind of show.

I think it's a little bit of both. She loved the AND show, but when the Edison ballroom concert came around, she said she liked that kind of show.

Yeah I think she likes audience feed back, you know, singing with her!

I presume this is due to the tour......

 

Now celine is touring Asia I'd expect them to release something... Lmbtl didn't do too well in Asia did it? I guess they want to create some buzz and regain her fans attention....

 

I see this as a great move.... She knows she didn't sell very well... And now she wants to remind people about her... The best way to do that is visit them countries ..... And I'm sure her management know this. The hype about her presence in their countries in itself will be enough to get her fans attention.

 

Remember on TCWT.... They loved her and there was such a hype.... I'm hoping once this happens they will realise she has a new album..

 

Smart moves by her management ...

As anyone listened to L'Abandon kinda loud lately? I did in my car, while in traffic, i hate traffic, and it completely relaxed me

 

This song is pure treat for the ears. The music of that song is so rich, her voice is crystal clear.

 

She should perform that song in Vegas. But she wont cause its not known enough to the general public... Sigh

I missed so much and I was LOL-ing the whole time. I love the idea of a Celine rehab, but it wouldn't take. A CD flash mob. Hell yeah. Awesome dream about that house and the party. I also would love to hear SSDA in Vegas right now. Someone said the English album I'd want to hear in its entirety, LMBTL, so for French I would choose D'Elles. My second favorite French song ever, "Immensite" is on it, and I LOVE the way she does Immensite live! I love love the idea of the acoustic show like Def Leopard did, and the 20th anniversary of D'eux suggestion totally rocks!

Just found out something pretty cool that's going to be happening right near where I live that kind of connects with Celine.

 

Remember how Daniela Ameruoso was Celine's body double for the Paler a mon pere music video?

 

Anyways, Her husband Christopher Ameruoso and Prescilla Presley are coming to this years Collingwood Elvis Festival to promote there new book Called: Shades Of Elvis, on July 24th, 2014.

 

If anyone doesn't already know Celine did a photoshoot for that book wearing Elvis sunglasses that Elvis owned himself.

This is so cool. I can't believe Prescilla Presley is coming to Collingwood, so close to where I live! :w00t:
