Yes I like reveal and surprise surprise for the lingerie line! Ok I let my mind wander. I am thinking of a french song not sure yet.

Listening to the taking chances album.... Regaining some appreciation for it. Yeah, it may not have had the same success as her early albums in terms of sales and charts and everything... But in terms of the music, it's pretty solid. I'm finding it to be edgier and more current than LMBTL, honestly. And we had more new songs on this album than any other... Love it.

Listening to the taking chances album.... Regaining some appreciation for it. Yeah, it may not have had the same success as her early albums in terms of sales and charts and everything... But in terms of the music, it's pretty solid. I'm finding it to be edgier and more current than LMBTL, honestly. And we had more new songs on this album than any other... Love it.

 

Up untill LMBTL came out, IMO TC was still a fresh and current album! There are just 10 things that would have made the album, and its reception a 1000 times better IMO:

 

1 A Song For You should have been re-recorded! It sounds to me like she recorded it straight after the AND.LIL cd! YUCK! So nasal! I think if she'd song this song in the current show, it would sound to die for!

2 I Got Nothing Left; why was her voice altered? She sounds like Mini Mouse! A Shame they did that!

3 Map To My Heart should have been an album track and not a bonus one!

4 Alone and EOM should NOT have been singles! PERIOD!

5 Shadow Of Love, Fade Away and Surprise Surprise should have been singles! PERIOD!

6 She should have sung This Time live on Oprah or something; to make the public aware of this heavey topic song!

7 The budget for the video clips for this album should not have gone to 1 video!

8 Why the photoshopped cover?

9 A Deluxe Edition with the recording sessions instead of a sneak peak of the Vegas show would have been much more entertaining!

10 She should have promoted the new songs when TC came out! Not sing the same old same old in every show, and especially One Night With in the UK should have been LIVE!

A Song For You would be a PERFECT addition to vegas!

Totally agree with you, TC was not my fav at first, in fact after I bought it did not really listen to it for a few years but it has really grown on me and there are so many great songs on it that could have been singles! Also, the album cover photo is my favorite. I love her huge, wild hair. Map to my heart should have been on the standard copy CD. Why it wasn't is beyond me.

It should either be called Reveal, Surprise Surprise or Can you Keep A Secret? I know that last one was not the title of a song, but still. I think it would be alluring. A French one could be "tous les secrets." I love that!!!!!!

I agree with the singles thing but I lovee I Got Nothing Left and it wasnt autotuned, she can really sing and sound like that.

I saw Veronic of The Talk today. They mentioned that Celine produces her Vegas show and they showed pics of Celine. Veronic did her impressions of Adele, Cher and Celine. She also did some other little impressions of some French singer and Pink.

 

Marie Osmond was a guest co host on the show today and when they interviewed Veronic, Veronic mentioned how lovely Celine is and you could hear Marie Osmond saying in the backgrownd, Celine is tall, very tall. LOL. Marie litterally just met Celine backstage in Vegas a few months back, so I thought that comment was cute.

I don't know why but now the only song in my head is How Do You keep... I even want to sing it at my sister's wedding!!!!
