You're welcome! I like the business side of showbusiness more than the "show" aspect sometimes. It's always funny to me how often people forget it's a business, with a lot of money at stake. Especially when you see fans complain that some "fans" get more access, etc--does it never occur to them that the "fans" they complain about are somehow employed by the celebrity?? Anyway, I will try to remember to post other business articles if I can (of course, information made public is often just PR for someone, but it's still interesting to read. At least, it interests me more than reading about a celebrity haircut. The hype is about the same, but at least the topic is more interesting to me).

Think: if only she had agreed to perform at Disney every once in a while, maybe her FL house could have been low cost or free too! :-D

 

 

 

I am wondering if he means they built the first house three times (until they got it right/ the family was satisfied) or if he means, they built the first house, then agreed to make the modifications and expand it (the construction she referenced in the 3 Boys and a New Show documentary), then lastly that AEG Is building the latest house. His saying he wouldn't get into it might be because that kept getting renegotiated, but originally they had only agreed to one house??? Or may he just isn't supposed to talk about it in detail. I have never heard about that part of her Las Vegas contract before.

 

However he meant his comment, I think her Vegas show has proven to be worth it for everyone involved. I think the estimates are she brings in over 100 million dollars per year to the city. That isn't from her show or show related sales, it's just a separate 100+ million spent per year by visitors who visit because she is there, and her show has had staying power with consistent (and high) sales. So, in the end what's a house? ^_^

Yeah I'm thinking he is referring to modifications? because she mentions in 3 Boys it would of just been easier to tear down the house and rebuild. :laugh:

I think she does in many aspects of her life :giggle: The business part of showbiz is interesting, the money that flies out is mind boggling! (not just talking about Celine but in general)

I think the "We won't go into that" was a gentle sort of teasing about Celine's love of redoing houses . .like, "Celine can't make up her mind and keeps wanting to change her house." I just get that impression because of the slightly expaserated way Celine was talking in 3 Boys and a New Show about their living in Caesar's Palace - saying, "yes, it's my fault the house is not ready" because she wanted to change everything . . it's at 7:00 of this video:

Ohhh, you guys are sooo fortunate that you can say, I'll have it next time. Look where I'm living, thousands of kilometers away, never see anything of her on our tv here, never able to see any shows of her. The only way I see ANYTHING of her is on this forum. So thanks very very much to everyone who uploads everything about Celine's shows and interviews etc, etc. I really do appreciate it a lot. You have no idea what it means to me. Yes, you're right, we did have her here, and I went to see her. I bought VIP tickets, but it was like a first come first seated kind of thing. I was very very sick at that time, my daughter went with me, I could only walk very slowly and she had to hold and help me along. I said to her, please go ahead and see if you can get good seats, but she didn't want to leave me alone. So we ended up getting seats far back, and when Celine came on, she looked about an inch high. But the seating was badly thought out I think. The Golden Circle tickets, which were cheaper than the VIP, we're in the middle and all standing. Us on the sides, so we could hardly even see the stage, with all of them standing. Anyway, if she ever does come here again, I have learnt my lesson, and will know which tickets to book. I apologize that it came across as complaining, I didn't mean it to be like that. Sorry that this post is long, just wanted to explain the situation at that time. I promise never to complain again about anything, I try my best not to upset anyone, anyway sorry. Hope you all have a good day.

You are allowed to complain about anything you want here. However, I think Lu Georgia was just trying to be funny. You never come off as negative or annoying. I just want to reassure you so that you don't feel you have offended anyone. I personally don't feel you did, and I honestly 100% believe that Lu Georgia (also a seemingly fabulous person) was just being playful with you. Everyone else on here complains...some at nauseum. If you have something to voice, go right ahead. I completely welcome anything you have to say.

Thanks, appreciate it. I know Lu Georgia is also a very nice guy, the same as you are also a great guy. I agree with you, i did maybe jump the gun a bit by what i wrote, once again i'm sorry for that. I misunderstood what he said, just for a split second, i took it up the wrong way. I think it still just upsets me a bit even to this day, even though i saw her in Feb 2008, booked the tickets a year before that, and i didnt see her. That concert meant the world to me, and i was so sick sitting there with tears flowing. Anyway, thanks again for writing to me, appreciate it. Take care. Im going to write to Lu Georgia now.

Hi there Lu Georgia, First of all, i'm extremely sorry for writing to you the way i did. That was not very nice of me, i'm sorry. I see the funny side of it now. I hope you will forgive me if i hurt you, by saying what i did. Everything just came back to me what happened in 2008 at the concert, and thats why i wrote what i did, when i read your post. I would'nt like for the two of us not to write to each other anymore because of this. You mean too much to me, and i would not like to lose you as a friend, i hope all can be ok between us. It would be great but I don't think Sisaundra is as enamored with Celine as Tessanne was. I felt she was just name dropping.

Yep. Sisaundras worked with her, so it's not just a fan thing. Tessanne was just a mega fan. Sisaundra knows Celine.

Since she came to sing with Tessanne during the finals of The Voice last year/season, I don't see it happening again. I think Sisaundra just knows/knew her and as someone said, is not so in to her whereas Tessanne is and is a fan. It would be nice, but I don't see it happening. And yes, she is killing it every week. I would like to see her sing a Celine song, but don't think Blake could name even one. :( :P And isn't thee some big fan meeting in Brazil today?

When I watched "Celine 3 Boys And A New Show", I noticed that Celine has a stand - in for rehearsals. Her name is Jennita Russo and she get's to wear all Celine's dresses in the show. I just thought it was cool seeing someone else wear Celine's clothes.

 

Does anyone have pics of Jennita wearing Celine's dresses from the show? I would love to see pics of her in all the dresses.

Imagine if there is a big announcement that Celine is going to do a concert in sometime in Brazil!!! Oh my word, I would be so sooo happy for you. I will be going crazy for your part. If that does happen one day, you must not miss that concert, not for anything.
