Every time she tours I think what an injustice that Céline can't ever sing 'Is Nothing Sacred' live. I think it's one of her best songs up there with her greatest hits... It's almost like a hit from another dimension, does it really exist because that's a song people should be hearing and loving!!

The outfits on this tour are much better than last year's imo.

But the one styled by Law is by far the best. It fits her to perfection.

Pepe should stick to dancing and drawing, bring back Law for them all especially if he is the one for that FIY one, by far the best. If Laws busy she's better off with Annie than Pepe tbh.

The song was never recorded beyond a demo. Never mastered and included on a release. She will never sing this song live.

we need to accept the good and the bad, what we like and don't like. Sometimes i really don't care for the stuff she does, but other times , she is so good , that no one can be her equal. , Si c'était à refaire in show last year was so perfect, i can't find someone else who would be able to do it.

Her voice was about 80% there, but still needs some vocal rest. She seemed to only struggle with Ashes and the end of The Reason.

She was way better than those few LV shows, post-surgery.

 

There was a lot of playback, but I don't mind that anymore. But I think every 10 years they need to record new playback.

 

I wish that there was more production.

She is too big of a star to have such plain/ basic production.

At the very least, she needed a good opening video, before TPOL

The orchestra was on top form though.

 

The set list was not as good as last years tour, but it was not terrible. The medley should be longer.

 

My only BIG issue, are the outfits. They are all UGLY. They seem to be getting worse each year.

The stage outfits were best during Annie Horths era.

I accept the lipped playback, but I don't like it (so I try not to think about it). I think her ear must still be in fairly poor condition. The songs, or parts of songs, that were sung live had many parts that were off. This is one of the first times it has been painful to listen to her sing live. Most artists make a mistake in pitch here and there, but this is pretty consistent. It is especially bad at the beginning of phrases. I wondered if that was why Barnev (?) was standing close to her during the acoustic set. Although it didn't help much on Beauty and the Beast. I feel bad about it, but that's my opinion.

I do think the crowd was happy to hear their favorite songs. That was nice. I liked the colorful outfit best and, since she is lipping anyway, I would love to see even more dancing. It was happy and lovely. She might want to rethink the gold pants and keep the jacket. Maybe black cigarette slacks would be better. Loved the flowing hot pink dress for MHWGO.

In just reading the set list, it was "yawn", but when she was performing the concert, it was nice. I enjoyed the changes to the beginning of many of the songs and the acoustic set. I am glad she has cut back on the talking, talking, talking. She spoke just enough. Now if the constant noodling could be more strategic, (not so much) the concert would be rolling along pretty well. Remember, these are my opinions only.

Maybe Celine will return to Cirque de Soleil type of a show in the future she has been to a lot of these shows lately.

I feel like it's only a matter of time before Cirque does a Celine-themed show. Not necessarily a permanent resident show, like the MJ or Beatles ones in Vegas, but maybe a summer one in Quebec like they've been doing for the past few years. Last year it was a Luc Plamondon show, this year it's Les Colocs. I feel like a Celine one is just around the corner.
