The new tour is produced by Caesar Entertainment. Could they be responsible for the laziness of the production? Like, "let's bring Vegas on tour" kind of decision? (less investment, more promotion for her residency) I mean, I would not be suprised if this was the case. I really don't know how this works and could be totally wrong but this was one of my thought after seeing the pictures they posted. It still doesn't change my opinion: she + we need a long break....

 

That wouldn't surprise me at all. If Caesars Palace was behind the decision of bringing the Vegas show on tour so they can sell more tickets and attract more public to Vegas later on

 

Céline cancelled many shows this year, plus the shows she cancelled due to René's illness, I wouldn't be surprised if Caesars was pushing her to sell more tickets in order to recover sales and make up for the lost shows in the future.

On the other hand, it wouldn't explain this Vegas copy setlist.... coz if they want to lure people to Vegas, they'll see an almost identical show..

I wouldn't really call this show "Vegas on Wheels." People are only saying that because she's touring the Prince medley. Live 2018 is basically the same show she did in Europe last year with a couple of tweaks. I would imagine they included the Prince medley vs. RTD/LIAWN because the latter didn't go over that well on last year's tour. Yes, the diehard fans loved it, but the rest of the arena was bored. That's why it was drastically cut down after Copenhagen.

Maybe Celine will return to Cirque de Soleil type of a show in the future she has been to a lot of these shows lately.

Let's be honest, guys. Celine's voice and style is shot. She is having a hard time even with the mid-notes. And, recently, she has this way of singing that is just off-putting. She produces some weird sounds i cringe at times. And its gettimg worse. I am not even talking about how she struggles with the high notes. Can't she hear herself well?

It's the same tour as last year with a few changes, and it wasn't never meant to be a completely different show. And next summer it will be similar again. Leg 4 of the tour, so get ready! OH NO, it's a Caesar's Conspiracy!!! It's the end of the world!!

No she can't hear herself well. That's the problem. And it seems the surgery hasn't fixed the issue... but she's doing the best she can at the moment. That's why when people complain about the setlist, they need to look at the big picture and what she's going through. That's the main concern fans should have.

Celine needs to reinvent the way she does her shows, since 2011 it's the same formula, same stage, same style and nothing new, the change has to be already for the next few years, if she wants to change, she already has 50 years, the opportunity for change is now, changes in the shows, in the songs.

 

About the clothes, I prefer the clothes that law chooses than the ones Pepe is doing, more if she likes them, so enjoy yourself. It seems to me that Law has more clients and is leaving Céline that aside, I may be wrong, more is what I observe, and he has to thank because it was Celine who did that he got a certain recognition.

They just used Celine and Vegas as an example to showcase that residecy shows are very popular and this is why they now also want to start doing residency shows in Japan to make Japan a place of entertainment like Vegas is.

I truely must say that in the beginng I really liked joining this Forum very much and contributing too. There had been mostly informative, positive exchanges of news, pictures, clips and thoughts. But I truely ask myself what happened the past time that the negative and partly harsh criticism gained the upper hand. I can't understand. For some of you nothing seems to be enough, what Céline does. Folks, she's a human being like us all. And all the money n the world can't prevent you from good and not so good days. She flew 12 hours to Tokyo, shortly after closing the Las Vegas run, persumably first long trip after her ear surgery. She's "allowed" to be in "not top shape". I was so happy seeing/hearing her again. She can perform 1.000.000 times her major setlist, and I will be happy to see the IG- and YT-clips. This woman gave me SO MUCH since I became her fan in 1988. Her music is the soundtrack to my life, the good and the bad. OK, I too made her get to the success, by spending a lot of money buying her CDs, DVDs, books etc. But that doesn't make me to a possessor who owns the right to critize and claim. Surely we all have thankfully the freedom of speech. But some of you should ask themselves why they mainly see the negative first instead of seeking the positive?

Well I'm pretty sure Feeling was a creditor in the Caesars bankruptcy so they may have well ended up with a small shareholding by virtue of some debt-for equity swap or some such.
