I'm not sure if this is the right thread to ask this, but does anybody have the full audio bootleg from August 27th, 2015? I used to have the full concert with the songs separated into different tracks and a front cover for iTunes.

 

Any help will be much appreciated!

Is it just my imagination or Celine performed The Christmas Song in Winter of 2012 in Vegas? I'm 90% sure she did but there's not any video nor even audio on YouTube. I think there used to be audio from that performance...

Hi! Anyone know a website where I can get the cheapest tickets to her show?! It has always been my dream to see her live and now she's ending her shows. The dollar when converted to my currency costs a bomb!!!

In the price of her most expensive ticket, I can buy a small place or even a car!

Buy a car and wait for the DVD!

This is less risk than buying a highpriced ticket (because I don't think that there are ways to get much cheaper ones), flying over, and as she's only human, gets sick or has to cancel ... than you've lost a huge heap of money!

Surely DVD isn't live ... but money stays money and most of us up here aren't millionaires who can easy afford what Ms. Célines entournage thinks we should.

But I guess the true reason is to always find her way home, if she gets lost on the biiiiig stage ... just follow the cable!

Maybe we should send in requests through instagram and twitter for her to sing at least one during her November or December shows this year.

Would be great, but I've got the feeling she doesn't want to put too much effort into the last shows ... regarding her saying that she doesn't have to proove anything anymore. Putting up a new song isn't as simple as some of us think. It needs extra time of rehearsal, with the orchestra with the background singers and we all don't know if there are some other projects cooking up in the background that demand her time ... or she simply wants to spend more time with her kids, family and friends.

Plus: The tour through different timezones was surely very exhausting, then the work on the new album. And no one of us knows if she doesn't still have to deal with health issues. I guess some people up here should stop requesting things and simply wait and cherish the things she offers. Major part of her carrer was driven by the public ... I think she can finally do what she likes to do and surprise us. (Although I am pretty sure it will never be enough for some folks up here - regardless what ever will come out.)

As idiocy as when she leaves Vegas she will have performed around 1,300 shows and yet dozens and dozens of songs she has recorded and released while being there have never been performed on that stage.

 

Not-a-chance for hugely potential songs that were screaming to be performed on stage, and sistematically have been ignored by her...

And that's not to mention the even most ignored and apathy towards her French material, from 1f&4t to Encore un soir, passing by D'elles and Sans attendre... :innocent:

 

As idiocy as not performing these when they had just been recorded and released, and what's most important, with her current voice at that time of each release...

 

Like you said, not that she had to turn upside-down each year or each month the show setlist, but from that to not have performed a single time each or most of these songs... for someone who had her own concert hall during 15 years... so so stupid and sad.

 

That's why I said she has wasted her chances in the most stupid way during all these long 15 years in that place.

It sounds what it sounds it is. All what she could have done with that show, and she didn't take any of the advantages of having your own residency could have offered to her. Having your own concert hall for 15 years with the chance to perform more than a thousand shows and you always perform a handful of the same songs of your career. Invariably. Month after month, year after year. Like only a 10% of your own repertoire.

 

Wasted chances, and wasted voice, because we'll never get to listen those songs with the voice she had when she recorded them. If she were to perform "The Greatest Reward" tomorrow, or "Naked" or "Then You Look At Me" for the next tour, they'll never sound the same as the year when she recorded them, unfortunately.

 

You may not like to read this, but artistically, the evaluation at the end of this adventure is what it is. No need to come with the wonders of the money she has amassed, the revitalisation of Vegas, the jobs she has created and such. I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the artistic side of all it, which -correct me if I'm wrong- that's all that matters to US the fans. And from that aspect, the final result is so poor, in terms of artistry and the evolution of her as a singer/performer.
