It’s refreshing to me that Celine is confident in her iconic status and she knows she still has her gift of untouchable singing (like Barbra Streisand). And she doesn’t chase the radio unlike Mariah or Madonna.

 

I’m excited to see what projects follow Vegas! And I’ll be happy if she returns in a couple years with a brand new show.

she actually released 2 albums per year in the 90s.

 

 

1990 : Unison

 

1991 : Dion Chante Plamondon

 

1992 : Celine Dion

 

1993 : TCOML

 

1994 : zero

 

1995 : D’eux

1997 : LTAL

 

1998 : SSD / TAST

 

 

 

So no, it was one except in 1998, which included a holiday album. So if were going off of straight studio original albums then no it was 1

One thing I’m curious about is whether she will continue to have the strings and brass sections on her future tours after this show is done. Those were the best additions to liven up her repertoire and it would be sad to see them disappear after this.

It’s good to have an update, but I would feel more comfortable knowing what’s next after Vegas ends. It’s kind of scary :D I don’t want her to disappear from the spotlight. That would be horrible!

its just "this residency" that's ending.

As someone else said, they are trying to sell out the tickets.

I have a feeling she wont leave Vegas/ or stop performing there, she will sign up to something else there..…………...

And toured constantly. She toured for TCOML, FIY and the LTAL tour lasted 2 years!! She toured that album right up until her break started in 1999!!!

Lol y'all have her booked already. What if she wants to take a break and do something else? Y'all already have her touring the world from the Arctic to Antarctica. What if she takes a break? A long break.

She will def be back in Vegas.

 

I think with a more theatrical show hence why she has been seeing so many different shows during the last 2 years with Pepe, for inspiration.

I’d bet money she’ll return to Vegas eventually, just seems inevitable. But it WON’T be before a minimum of 2-3 years, you’ll see.

yeah, some regular projects that bring in the cash + touring and releasing new music. That would be cool! A role in a movie + soundtrack would be cool

For me it was and still remains a beautiful time rich with experience, which now comes to a close with mixed feelings. The last show is on our wedding day......I really hope Céline will enjoy her last shows and do some new projects full of joy and happiness!!

At least we know that if (but definitely when) she comes back to Vegas (definitely Caesars) it’ll be a new show. It was tired.

Can't help feeling like she is cutting the last stings attached to the business-memory of her beloved husband to finally fly free wherever the wind may take her. Definitively one of the most exciting times of her career lies straight ahead. Maybe even more exciting than the waiting during her hiatus 2000-2001.

Where can someone climb who's already at the highest of the highest peaks, a true legend? Will she stay on her track (albums ... tours ...) , will she leave for another direction (acting), will she slightly retire, will she enter more actively into fashion, will she marry Russell Crowe or Pepe (JUST KIDDING! :sofunny: ).

Wherever she will flutter ... I will follow. Whatever she will choose ... it will be alright for me! Her music accompanies half of my lifetime, she gave me sooo much with her music, her candor, her wise words. She doesn't have to follow my wishes as a fan ... I will follow hers.

 

I hope she will give us all a little hint in whith direction everything will turn, but even if not: I like surprises too!

This current show was Rene’s last imprint on her career. I think that’s why this show has lasted as long as it has. However everything he has taught her will guide her for the rest of her career.

Well the LTAL tour was one of her smallest, not to mention that it only lasted 2 years because she 1) started it in august 1998 and 2) because she postponed it because of renes illness. Even so, it lasted from August 1998 - Decemeber 1999... thats 16 months, not 24.

See..... i feel like this new residency (if there is one) wont be for a long while. I feel like she will probs do an english album and tour and a french album and tour, then an extended break and THEN Vegas. I forsee somewhere more in the vein of in 4-5 years time

Oh, and I want 2 (TWO) albums per year, two in 2020, two in 2021 and another two in 2022. To make up for the long waiting between albums and the postponed/cancelled albums during Vegas residencies -_-

 

And since 2022 will make the 20th anniversary of the ANDHC album, that year I want a super-loving Anniversary edition of the album, comprising a box set with a 3D diorama featuring the scenery of the album cover in the form of a cube, and all the tracks she recorded that year for that album. One Heart will be eliminated from her discography and she will make a public press conference apologising and admitting she faked all of us with that album all these years, because it was all coming from the glorious ANDHC recording sessions.

 

The diorama featuring the ANDHC landscape, clouds, sea and beach will be a limited edition, but if you buy, only with this precious box set you will enter the chance to win a special edition of the versatile water bottle B)
