Yes, she recorded it for Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast.

No. It had its moment in the 2017 tour already. No need to worn out each movie song she records on each tour/year.

 

And 2018 already had a new movie song, Ashes. Enough!

She performed it for a few months jesus youre so quick to judge, HDAMLF is still a great song

As quick as the music industry goes.

 

And like I said, she already premiered another movie song for the 2018 tour. We can't turn her show into a soundtrack review of all she's done for movies because she wouldn't finish a concert doing only movie songs. She already included 5 movie songs in her 2018 tour.

 

And I didn't say HDAMLF isn't a great song. I like it.

Well for her Asian/Australian/NZ fans it would still have been new. Most of the people attending her concerts do not follow each and all her moves and do not watch so-so quality video of her concert on youtube.

 

Hence, HDHMLF would still have been fresh for Asia/Oceania :-)

yes and she should have included it in the tour. That way it would have been on the Tokyo dvd as well.

Nope.. probably in 2 months.

And IF she would end this residency in the first half of the new year, then all the final dates will probably announced at once.

Has there been any announcement of March/April dates in Vegas yet?

 

I saw yesterday that James Taylor will be at the Colosseum for quite a bit of April and May. I would love to return in May if possible so I'm looking forward to the next batch of dates as well.

Yea, I was just looking at that. It seems like a lot of March and beginning of April is mostly empty, so wondering if she's going to come back then. Elton's residency is ending (or maybe it already ended?) so there is going to be a lot of open space at the Colosseum next year.

Elton’s residency ended on May 17th. So yes, lots of room at The Colosseum next year.

I actually think she might.

It certainly doesn't have a stigma attached to anymore and from a practical perspective, it just works for so many artists. There's a reason they're all signing up to do it.

I will be there in Nov , but only seeing her for 2 shows, I really wanted a M&G since its my 50th , but oh well,

I'm also looking forward to seeing her. One of the good things of Vegas, we don't have to go too long without seeing her perform or hearing her stories lol.

I was watching a Vegas performance the other day and I realized how small it is compared to her tour venues. That realization made me laugh because the first Vegas (Celine video in general) video I saw she mentions how she likes the "intimate" feel and I thought it was funny she considered 4,000 people an intimate size.

Here's an interesting undercover investigation from the Toronto Star and CBC on Ticketmaster doing business with scalpers!!

They went undercover in Las Vegas. What a shame!! This gives "...Ticketmaster a new revenue source: a second commission on every “verified resale” ticket sold on Ticketmaster.com (on top of the commission it collects on the original purchase of each ticket)." :unsure:

I think she'll probably go back to the original Vegas wardrobe. Gold dress for opening / Beige dress for Paganini through medley / Gold short dress for uptempo / Black with cape for MHWGO.

Idk... Shes been bringing new ish very consistently. I really prefered the whitr dress to the. Eiege one

I'm glad to see this story has gotten so much traction since it surfaced. Something needs to change (as it did in the UK!)

Ticketmaster is a scam. They do this on one hand, and on the other, block legit concert-going customers from their sites for "excessive violations of Terms of Use".

all rumors point to her not extending the show beyond 2019. I think she will have the last show in May-June. The dates will probably be revealed in late October or beginning of November.

 

OR it could finish on January 20th 2019 for all we know..

Yeah. Id imagine a finish in May-June. Considering IMO that shes just started to record this new album it would make sense

See i say this because, the outfit she was wearing in the 2017 studio pics she wore for that pre recorded tribute thing. Also because the new playbacks sound very similar to her voice at that time.

 

And then, Ashes was seemingly recorded at the same time as before its release she was off for months (she did the video shoot in April, but her voice was way too weak to do the song in the studio so im thinking it was recorded before 2018. Not to mention that the guy who wrote it said he got confirmation of Celine doing it in November 2017.

 

Now she’s actually posted that shes IN THE STUDIO (her own words, not TC who just post random sh*t that half the time isnt relevant) and has sheets of music

 

Also I further assume that she was SUPPOSED to start recording Jan - March and then between her April and May shows, but illness on both time slots and also asian tour promo lead to cancelling this.

 

 

And tbh i dont understand why people say “its been 5-6 years since shes released anything “ well no sis.

 

2013 : just released a new album and the year before she had done a french album

 

2014/2015 : she was caring for Rene so no album

 

2016 : french album and grieving period

 

2017 : was just a huge year in general, from award shows to met gala to Vegas to a tour and then the Leonard Cohen tribute and then her back injury... whenever she was off, something was up or she was busy

 

2018 : Jan - May she was ill and assumingly didnt do almost anything apart from the Ashes shoot, then Vegas then tour so IMO this has been her first chance
