Javito Posted November 8, 2016 at 08:22 AM Posted November 8, 2016 at 08:22 AM Exactly.. We like to blame Sony and her team but she is still the boss, she gets the money, she owns the power, she couldve easily taken over the promotion, told them to get video for fans ready ASAP, prepare another one, start MENTIONing the album at least with one sentence in US talkshows (she did Ellen without saying anything FFS!) etc etc. Clearly she is not there/having another things to do.Look, she is the bestseller, I cant believe Sony denies to pay for her videos if she really wants to and is interested, but shes been always like that, loves singing but dont care so much about other stuff around I remember my friend used to say in ANDHC and One heart era, that she could've been easily as big or even bigger than Madonna just by actually caring about her career, so true This The truth is that there's not much they can do in Sony Music if she's a singer whose only concern and ambition today is just to perform on the stage and do concerts and nothing else Quote "Hush, now... Unisono Posted November 9, 2016 at 01:03 PM Posted November 9, 2016 at 01:03 PM And in Quebec the album fell from #1 (9 weeks) to #4. Oh noo... :-( Maybe they're waiting to ship the new edition of the album to sellers and this reduces the number of the copies purchased. In any case during the next two months sales should increase (at least in numbers, if not in chart position) thanks to Christmas... Quote

With 7-9 songs from that album. And a rerelease that's worth buying... #justsaying #promotion ... A TV Special like D'elles, with 7-9 songs from the album... or the album performed in full, why not? After all, we won't see most of the songs performed never again. But with this new album, we won't see not even half of it performed during the album launch. Only 4 songs have been performed And if things don't change and the promo is definitely over, this album will be known as her French album with the least amount of songs performed on stage (either live or in playback). And still she keeps performing in Vegas and neglecting the new music she releases time and again and still ome fans wonder why some other fans dislike Vegas so much?. 1,000 shows in Vegas with the same f***ing setlist for years and years. And most of the songs of her albums she has launched during Vegas remain completely unknown without no performances of any kind. The primary reason why we are seeing these rants in many irrelevant threads is that the admins/mods of the forum do nothing about it. You have given him full permission to go off-topic simply because he wants to and potentially derail threads. If I reply to his Vegas commentary now, do you know what this thread will become? And at the end of the day comments will be deleted. Remember what happened in the Summer tour thread when he said he knew someone who told him Celine was forced and not happy to do AND? As long as you accept these rants, the way you seem to be accepting them, you are not helping the forum, nor the person who has publicly posted that he rants against Vegas since 2003. A good 13 years now. Anyway, I think Celine made up for 1F&4T and well-supported Miracle, TC, SA when these albums were released. This leaves 4 albums, with the lack of promo for LMBTL being completely excused. Probably for EUS too, given what she has been through, how much she has worked and that she is currently sick. The primary reason why you see those "rants" is because of something called "freedom of speech", something for which you don't have the least toleration, the moment someone contradicts your posts. You do it all the time on the defensive tone when someone doesn't agree with you (last example talking about fashion in Vegas in another thread) Actually, many fans happen to agree with the fact that Vegas has impeded the promotion of several past albums and that she should move on from there and do other projects. And consequently, they happen to agree and have agreed with my posts for many years, probably since 2003 like you say. That you have a problem with that, and you don't agree with me, that's not my problem. And again, it's called freedom of speech fyi. Of course she was forced to do AND and she wasn't happy to do it, at the start of the show, and during several stages of it. Watch the AND documentaries, I think you need to refresh your mind. She WAS forced to go on in tears, even when she wanted to go back and just stay with her son. And yes, I stand for everything I said in that topic, for your annoyance Last but not least, Vegas is the reason why she can't do other things with her career, for starters, the lack of promotion we are seeing again with EUS for example, and many other projects that she had to cancel or put on hold since 2003 because of her commitments in Vegas. So why wouldn't mention it when it's due? 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

You've gone off-topic DOZENS and dozens of times in this forum, in dozens of different threads with the jokes and racy comments with your "dear husband" for years, and I never said a word 2. I don't think I've gone off-topic at all. We are talking about the EUS album and I said that Vegas is impeding the continuation of the album promotion right now, which is true, and that she doesn't mind to perform 1,000 times the same songs in Vegas for 10 years, while this album has only seen 4 songs performed, and probably won't see anymore. What bothers you so much? What's off-topic here? Please read Davey's post again. He came to the same conclusion as me, without reading each other: Vegas has been and is the obstacle for many aspects of her career, in terms of the lack of promotion her albums have seen since she's there. So if we come to the same conclusion, why we should avoid mentioning it in different topics, when it's true that if it wasn't for Vegas, she would have plenty of time to support her albums and promote them? You just want to silence an opinion that is way widespread between many fans, and that is obvious, and logical to think. I'm not sorry if your attempt to silence us is not successful . You do it all the time on the defensive tone when someone doesn't agree with you (last example talking about fashion in Vegas in another thread) You do read me! I can take the different opinion. The person who came for my comment said fashion is fabulous. Which I disagree with but it is fine to state so, since this is his opinion. However, I do not need him or anyone, to try to change my taste on it. Which is what he did. I also needed to clarify that I did not tell the stylist how to do his job. Because well... I had not done that. Now, if replying to such comments makes me defensive, then what are you? Constantly replying with essays against all those people disagreeing with you? It was over 15 people standing for couldawouldashoulda, manu23, CelinesDIVO5 the other day, yet you managed to fill like 2 pages. Come on, get real with your remarks on me please.
