She sold 110,000 concert tickets across 9 sold-out shows not so long ago. And Sans attendre sold 95,569 copies in week one.

 

Let's get predicting - winner gets a lollipop!

 

I'll go first - 102,000 copies.

Could you please put the numbers in perspective? Apparently, already this is the best week-sales she ever had in the 21st century in France (though there's another day of sales to add). Renaud's latest week opening, earlier this year, comes second, right? Is EUS' week opening the second best in 16 years for France then? Besides, when has she reached these numbers for the last time in France? With ATW?

If I recall correctly Renaud's opening sales were higher : 280k.

So this album should the 2nd best opener of the year.

In France, we only have Celine's first week sales since 1 Fille & 4 Types.

And it was the album that sold the most, 123,596 copies.

I wish we had her 90s albums first week sales

A bit alternative with deep smoky voice.

He had some addiction issues

So it's like the rebirth album this year.

Thing is : when you have such a strong start , it will be hard to have strong legs.

 

Look at Renaud : biggest first week sales of the year with 280.000 copies ...but it took 5 months to double this number.

 

He just crossed 600.000 copies sold (biggest seller of the year in France so far).

 

Still, it's quite an achievement but don't know...you would expect more of an album with such a big debut week.

 

Never understood all this hype around first week sales.
