The last French album to go top 5 in Italy was Stromae's Racine Carrée which reached #1 in 2013. Prior to that, it appears as though the last top 5 French album in Italy was Quelqu'un m'a dit by Carla Bruni in 2003 [reached #4].

 

It is Céline's highest charting album in Italy since One Heart [reached #3 in 2003].

 

Her last album to peak higher than #3 was Let's Talk About Love - a million seller in Italy - which reached #1 in 1997.

 

Her albums always do pretty well in the Italian charts...also ANDHC was a n.1 album here (more than 300.000 copies sold). But being #3 with a french album is somehow epic!!!!!

Now that she's on her momentum again and on the top of the charts, please don't wait for the bubble to explode... Why wait more time to release a second song for radios?

Now the main chart includes sales+streaming, and Celine is #88.

But the chart with sales only is also published, and Celine is #56.

 

This is Celine's first album to chart under new rules.

 

By the way, the album also debuted at #70 in Scotland.
