I think ASFY is actually quite beautiful.

 

It's very understated. There's no hiding when its just a piano and vocal! It's how Sir George Martin always described her version of Here There and Everywhere.

I just don't want a year of her fangirling over Pink writing her a song. Celine needs to comprehend the fact she's a freakin' legend and people generally will and should fall at her feet.

Incredible definitely agree with you but LMBTL, I love it!

I agree with you about the Neyo-Sia thing.

Is your genre for her ballads? Do you like it when she branches of in a different direction?

OK fine, LMBL has a certain charm. But Incredible is a boooooore.

And to answer your Q, my two faves are probably Le ballet and Moi quand je pleure - and I wouldn't exactly call either of those ballads. :)

Unless they plan to release this track as an "independent" track and not as the first single of the new english album, like they did with TSMGO.

1) it would mean that they are no longer interested in EUS promotion

2) I don't think the song is THAT good

3) a song will be forgotten if there is no music video or airplay

4) barely anyone picked up TSMGO so why would they do it now?

5) even if the album was to be released in February, it's SO early for a first single

6) without having a wider perspective how this album will look like they would release a single?

7) it seems rushed

 

 

 

But well, in the end, we will be getting a new song, so I won't complain about that. Only from commercial and marketing point of view, what they do with this and EUS promo is weird.
