I really love Sia. She has a unique voice and wrote so many songs that I really adore.

I wish that Sia had given Titanium to Celine. Back then the lyrics and vocals would have suited her so well. It's like singing to the haters. Not to mention It rhymes with Titanic.

From the EW article... Both Pink and Celine seem to suggest that the song wont be a slow/sad ballad... more like an upbeat "recovery" song... well at least thats how I took their statements...

What I got from pink is it could be ALA "My Love". She said most people want to hear Celine go crazy with her voice and give all kind of long amazing notes, and P!nk on the other hand said that she wants to "feel her soul" .

My god. I still consider it a new album. Two English albums in ten years with her actively performing in most of those years. Talk about wasting time when considering her legacy as a recording artist

Granted, a lot happened in those 10 years and her focus was elsewhere. But agreed, for some reason she takes a really long time to turn around a record, which is surprising considering she doesn't write any of it. I mean, this French album was announced at ~ this time last year. Many other artists I listen to can make an album in a few weeks (if not a single week, in some instances!) But I suppose with Celine, given Sony's reliance on her, requires a corporate sales & marketing machine to be put in working order, and (having worked at Sony in the past), that is a slooooow-moving train.

The last album that really added to her legacy as a recording artist, as far as English albums are concerned, was ANDHC (And this because the album is a fan favorite). TC & LMBTL are good efforts but they fall short. I think she still has a chance to record a full length album that has an impact on her career. I understand where you're coming from when taking about wasted time, but it will eventually be 3 albums within 10 years! So much happened though... Without the struggle to have a baby and Rene's death I think we would have enjoyed 4 albums as of 2017. That said, if the upcoming album is good I won't mind the missed opportunities. Hopefully this will be a rock ballad because I keep going back to the ET interview and Celine saying "get ready" and the little raise of her eyebrows, like she's giving us a hint, that it is not going to be expected! Can't wait!
