This is great. I think Pink is ok, I never listen to her, but she has some good songs. More than anything I am super excited and happy about a new English Album!

I love Pink! Her songs are amazing! I can only imagine what she would do with a Celine song. With that said....I hope it's more like a song you would find on TC as opposed to LMBTL.

I love LBNTL but TC is still my favorite

There was an Instagram post yesterday from someone in a recording studio that mentioned Celine and used David Foster in a hashtag, so it's likely he's working on something on the album.

Link?

Yesterday we've heard about David Foster, then Diane Warren, today P!nk, what's next?

Honestly I believe she's going to deliver two of her best French and English albums after René's death, they all look to be putting her best efforts as they did in 2002 with her two comeback albums, ANDHC and 1f&4t, which were both big albums that brought a fresh new sound and a modern Céline!

Something tells me both the songs for her new French and English releases are being carefully picked to make two great and cohesive albums, like she did in the old times. Nothing rushed (as LMBTL), but a coherent project with a consistent tracklist, a careful song selection, big producers, and a fresh new sound

Again, exciting times to look for in Célineland ^_^

I saw the instagram post about david foster, but where did you see that diane warren was involved with her next album?

Diane Warren was asked on Larry King and she confirmed herself.

Now this makes me happy... It's been a happy time to be a Celine fan in spite of all the bad at the start of the year.

I've posted on the news section but i think it's good to post on the song's topic.

"Recovering" was written by P!nk, Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin. [COUNTRY BALLAD ALERT]

Allen co-wrote I Can't Make You Love Me, by Bonnie Raitt.

Tom co-wrote Forever Changed, by Carrie Underwood.

Source: ASCAP

This Carrie song is about an old lady attempting to recall memories of her life. Tom's mom had Alzheimer's and she was the inspiration for the song. This is one of my personal favorite songs, cuz my grandpa has Alzheimer's too.

I'm sure that this song they wrote for Céline will be fantastic.

To be honest, who the songwriter is means nothing to me... A songwriter who is known to be great might come up with something of low quality. The best example that comes to mind is Diane Warren who offered Celine gems like Water From The Moon & Nothing Broken But My Heart only to be responsible for the absolute worst tracks in TCOML (yes I am talking about Real Emotion, Lovin' Proof and No Living Without Loving You :puke:)

That said, I like Pink in general but I am not getting excited thinking the song will necessarily be good. What I liked is that it seemed personal but that's another story.

thats peculiar, cuz for me Lovin Proof and No Living Without Loving you are the two gems of that album, and one of the finest songs Celines ever done:P but I agree good name is not always guaranty of quality

Celine Dion is getting ready to release a French-language album later this year, but she’s already planning her next record after that.

Between wrapping her Summer Tour 2016 in August and returning to her Las Vegas residency in September, Dion tells EW she’ll start looking at songs to include on her next English-language LP. That album will follow this year’s upcoming Encore un soir and is expected to arrive some time in 2017.

Dion is keeping mum about her collaborators for now, but there is one she’s willing to dish about: “Pink wrote me a song that I’m freaking out about,” she says in the new issue of EW, on stands now. “You cannot be more excited than me, I’ll tell you. I am thrilled not only because I am a fan, but because I know her personally and have met her a few times.”

The admiration is mutual: “Celine possesses one of the most incredible voices that I have ever heard,” Pink exclusively told EW in a statement. “She is like a magic light bulb, walking around emanating light into the world. When I wrote this song, there was such a simple need to it. I know everyone wants to hear Celine wail, I wanted to hear Celine’s soul. She is just simply amazing, and getting to write a song for her is one of the biggest honors of my life.”

Dion says Pink approached her about the song while she was dealing with the losses of her husband and long-time manager, René Angélil, and her older brother Daniel, who both died within a few days of each other in January. “She’s a genuine person, and [it was] so generous of her to take the time to write a song for me during the most difficult time of mine,” Dion says. “People have a tendency to send me really sad songs, and we do want to sing the touching songs, but life is beautiful, and I really want to believe that René has a life after his life, that he doesn’t suffer anymore.”

Dion’s last English-language album was 2013’s Loved Me Back to Life, which featured collaborations with the likes of Ne-Yo and Sia. She’s hoping to recruit a similar roster of artists for her next project. “I can’t really talk about the other writers yet because nothing has been confirmed, but trust me, I hope that Sia and Ne-Yo and Bruno Mars and all the people that we love, oh my gosh, I hope they write for me,” she says

I'd just hope if she writes for Celine again it has a little more substance.... I adore LMBTL but over time it is a little repetitive

I wish she'd stop fawning over these people. She doesn't need them!

And I don't care if Neyo wrote her a song - it's a downright awful one and I'd rather have that slot go to someone unknown who can write her something substantive.

Don't care about Ne-Yo anymore, but Sia and Bruno Mars (!!!) hell yes!!!!! I'm so excited just for knowing she's excited and looking forward to getting songs from these people!

Btw she was already wishing that Sia sent her more songs right after recording LMBTL in the studio, but I doubt Bruno is very available these days, he's busy with his new album too ^_^

I kind of want a Celine/Pink or Celine/Sia duet now. I know in the past I said no duets on this new album but these are two that I think might like. Of course it would have to be the right song too.

Bruno Mars wrote for Adele which is why Celine would love him to write for her I'm sure lol. As long as she sounds like Celine "crystal clear" Dion and not granny/ bedroom voice ill be happy.
