When she sings "tell him I love him" near the end, that's where I lose it!

Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

this song could become popular , but the problem is that many people have biased opinion about Celine, for her it won't be a hit for someone else could be. Anyway hit or not, I just hope this song helped Celine in some way :innocent:

Her voice has changed. You can't deny that. But the vibrato is still there, and the sincerity. (And it is much less nasal than usual.)

The song is a traditional ballad. Not much to say.

So the official release date worldwide is September 9th? Is that correct?

It's true, but after the billboard performance, I think she became more positively viewed. I think this song, along with the show tomorrow (which is such a big and important even and organization) can really get some traction. But hey, even if it doesn't, I think think song can become an anthem for people who are going through or have passed through something as difficult as this. It is poignant and gorgeous, and I already think it is a success in my eyes at the very least (not that it matters what I think lol)

She'd better turn that page faster.

It's the first time that I don't need to listen to a song again. I did give it a second chance. But no, that's enough.... NEXT

At least this song has a powerful message.

She hasn't released a song with such strong statement since "I'm alive" or "ANDHC".

I think she could very well trend tomorrow. The whole world is aware of what she's going through.

Exactly my thoughts

I agree a high note and more powerful and "moving" arrangements (à la "Try"by Pink) would have turned this one into a perfect song.

But still it's perfect for what it is!

This song is everything!!!!! I love EUS and SCAR from the french album in particular and I love Recovering as well. These songs deal with the loss of René and Celine's love and life "after"... this is what moves me more than any other subject that she can possibly sing about.

I've been very positive about EUS. Don't like my comment, scroll down and give it a break. No one has to looooooooooove everything

I'm so happy that we're getting a "deep" song in english.

We're often saying that her english repertoire is less profound or relevant, or personal.

Agree with you.

Also, this song is a message. It's not the song they're using to promote a new English album. Great move imo. Just surprised it's this quick - wasn't long ago she recorded it! But obviously the song is perfect for the SUTC show - and perfect for celine to sing it during that show. Well done Aldo and Co 😀

Because it's amazing talented P!nk who has written this song, but dear, what a snooze fest of a song she has given Céline :giggle:

The song and lyrics aren't bad but the arrangement isn't great. It didn't feel like the song had a climax .. A beginning, middle and end.

O-M-G.. This song.

Finally a beautiful small song from Céline with meaning ánd that is autobiographical.

And it's just as Pink has said...she wanted to hear Céline's soul and not hear her belt or wail.

Got goosebumps when it started, but I cried when the part with "Hold me.... " starts. WWow.

It's as if Céline wrote the song herself. It's all about her and René.

This is the perfect time for her to release a song like this. 2016 is her year of Recovering.

Next year will be whole different....

But wouldn't it be great that IF they put the song on her new English album, it will be a duet version with Pink and/or with a different arrangement.

Yeeeees the song is nice, the lyrics are personal and touching and bla bla bla, but I hope they're just releasing this song to get rid of it and turn the page as soon as possible. This is not what we would expect for her comeback with the next English album (or yes? )

With all the amazing songs that P!nk writes and the amazing rockish arrangements she employs (even in balladas like Try), this is as if she finished putting together the tracklist of her next album and said "oh, what do I do with the remaining songs?" And then Celine got a leftover :giggle:

Well that was a Debbie...

This song is way to "mourning-ish", its not going to get air play, and i think they know it. But Celine wants to move on, so she released it so that the next ablum can be a happy one :)

I HOPE so.

No, I don't like it...

I am so disappointed...Pink and Celine, this could have been huge!

Sounds like a Christina Aguilera ballad, like a boring Christina Aguilera ballad....

La vie resiste, prend son elan

Pour un baiser elle peut se poser

Le temps qui compte est toujours compte

How do we know? Yes we know the story that Celine said everywhere "P!nk wrote me a song!!!" but maybe it was just a song P!nk already had for the album and thought of giving it a better use if she sent it to Céline, queen of ballads :innocent:

I mean, P!nk is releasing a new album soon too. And she writes tons of songs each time (the last album had 20 songs in its deluxe edition. TWENTY  ). So imagine how many songs she writes if "only" 20 make it to the album.

I don't think Céline has ever surprised me more with her releases than this year. One minute I'm going about my own business thinking how amazing EUS is and then BOOM - a new English song!! She's really spoiling us, hopefully this will continue...

That I agree. 2016 is not a year Celine fans will easily forget. It's been frenetic so far! One day she's in TV, next day she's touring and tomorrow she releases a new song all of a sudden
