pat200 Posted September 8, 2016 at 04:57 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 04:57 PM it is a nice song, love her voice on it sounds so beautiful and warm. glad no high notes were in the song. the song itself won't be a hit at all but it is a nice small song for us fans. i honestly would take anything she releases now since we get new albums from her every 4 years now lol 1 Quote
Mudo Posted September 8, 2016 at 04:58 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 04:58 PM (edited) I like that her management did not tell anyone to pre-order the song whereas lady gaga has scheduled her new single 3 days beforehand so that people know that there's a new song coming out; this one is out of the blue or maybe it's just a cancer-relief song that people can buy to help the cause... BartFCS Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:04 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:04 PM (edited) To me it sounds like she's trying to sound like Pink in certain phrases. I can definetely hear Pink. Can you hear it too? Overall not bad. Simple and beautiful. Edited September 8, 2016 at 05:05 PM by BartFCS 5 Quote

Schwa83 Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:07 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:07 PM This song is a real gem. One of her most poignant, emotional songs in a long time, perhaps ever. I absolutely love her tone of voice here, and her enunciation on certain words. 1 Quote

québecflower Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:11 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:11 PM i love it, i will have to cry and listen.... beautiful, soft, a little touch of gospel . Maybe she release it to show some people what she can do and it will help her to receive more connected songs. 1 Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

tomier Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM this is not a HIT material, it could just do less than the show must go onI have to disagree, "hit" as in hot 100 #1 no.. but Adult contemporary, of course it is ? This song absolutely has the the potential. Especially as she is going to sing it live on all major TV networks in the USA. It does have potential. May not happen, but potential it has. 2 Quote
stlcardsfan Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM I love it. A simple yet beautiful song packed with so much emotion. Her delivery is fantastic, Bravo Celine. Quote
BartFCS Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM It is a perfect song to close her new english album. 1 Quote
Popular Post stevo Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM Author Popular Post Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:16 PM No, this isn't gonna be number one for 12 weeks, nor number one at all. But it's a song. From Celine. And she sounds incredible. I cried. 11 Quote
maria_k Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:17 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:17 PM didn't have very high expectations not to be disappointed, but omg so beautiful *ugly crying* 1 Quote
Daysleeper Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:17 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:17 PM I like it . Very touching and simple just the way it should be concerning the subject. It doesn't sound like a hit song, more like a title song of her next English album. Quote
Popular Post Peppercorn1991 Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:19 PM Popular Post Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:19 PM This single is to point out she is turning a new leaf.... It's doesn't have to chart! Kev x 11 Quote
boyblackuk Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM Amazing I love it's soft subtle sound and it's heartbreaking Quote
mike_z Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM She sounds great!!!! A lot better than in the LMBTL album. It's a mixture of her old crystal-clear voice with a new modern twist.I like the song but it's definitely not single material. 3 Quote
luciusbright Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:20 PM It made me cry(ಥ_ಥ) Quote S'il suffisait d'aimer...
tomier Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:21 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:21 PM To be honest, Celine is not very likely to have a #1 or top ten, maybe not even top 40 billboard hit again, hit material or not. BUT a song like this (in my humble opinion) has great potential in the adult contemporary charts. 1 Quote
zuv Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:22 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:22 PM Well that was a Debbie... This song is way to "mourning-ish", its not going to get air play, and i think they know it. But Celine wants to move on, so she released it so that the next ablum can be a happy one 4 Quote
luciusbright Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:24 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:24 PM a tearjerker...but she has to do it. I'm under the impressionn that she wants to put it all behind her as quick as possible. She wants to live in the present, more than ever. I totally agree with you 1 Quote S'il suffisait d'aimer...
stevo Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:24 PM Author Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:24 PM The point is that it's her magical song and as Kev said, this is her turning the page 5 Quote
mike_z Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:27 PM Posted September 8, 2016 at 05:27 PM I love the song but I'm not sure about the arrangements.I would have gone with a country guitar and some drums in the second part of the song. I'm not 100% sure about the "Ave Maria"-sounding piano. But I agree that the song is a masterpiece. It reminds me of the good old days when she made good quality music with David Foster. 1 Quote
