I am going by myself to las vegas for 5 days from 3rd June 2016 if anyone wanted to pair up if you're doing the same date or around that date as I'm really nervous and would be nice to have someone to maybe go around the sites and go out at night time to some bars as it's safer. I actually can't really blame them for not doing that this time . . .Given the subject matter of With This Tear -- and the fact that it's virtually unknown to the general public -- most people would probably think it was being posted because it's a song that describes her feelings about Rene right now. And I don't think she would want that . . .I don't think she would want her public message to be an "i'm so sad" kind of message -- even if it's true, it's just not her style to make that her public message. (It's been more of a, "Rene is still with me and always will be" kind of message, or even a "My Heart will Go On" kind of message. The lyrics of With This Tear are incredibly depressing without any shred of hope that you see in her other songs). And I don't know that the lyrics accurately reflect her current experience at all (remember that she sang this in 1992, before she had any real experience with loss or grieving. And it's hard to see her engaging with some of the lyrics now, like "When you told me you were dying, I had less courage, it's true." That is at least not how she's ever talked publicly about things that really happened to her. I know she loved Prince and will probably honor him in her way . . I just don't see her going back to With This Tear. I could be wrong, though. What I think they *should* have done is posted one of her magnificent recent performances of Purple Rain and Kiss.
