I don't think she will replace it that early... they would have to rework the whole jazz segment

I hope this would happen but I doubt it. She never incorporated a song from Sans Attendre to her show. And D'elles and songs from ONCP were never brought to Vegas.

I think she should have ditched TFTEISYF (lullaby back then) for Lake Mer et l'Enfant

 

It will be interesting to see if HUS will make it to Vegas... I am kinda hoping she'll save it for the French tour

PAMP was released in 2012 (second run of the show) and became her longest running song in France and a Top 10 hit. In my opinion, it should have replaced NMQP. For every random Vegas cover she included she could have gone for an original song of similar theme:

 

Lullaby (Goodnight My Angel) ---> Miracle or In Some Small Way

Overjoyed ---> Tell Him

Quand Ca Balance ---> Le Ballet

Ne Me Quitte Pas ----> Parler A Mon Pere or S'il Suffisait D'aimer or L'amour Existe Encore since PQTME shined in the previous show and during TCWT.

HDYKTMP ----> If You Asked Me To

 

... and so on... I know you got my point.

When I hear the words, the first tiiiiime, I literally go to sleep for the next 3 minutes. Haha. I was so pleased she had. La mer et l'enfant during USF.

Disclamer: I will gladly eat my eat words if she suddenly comes up with a wild streak and decides to go for it. But I'm not holding my breath......

Actually TSMGO was mainly written by Brian May about Freddie. 😊 he wasn't sure if Freddie would have the strength to hit those notes - but he sure did!😆

With This Tear should replace Purple Rain/Kiss and be the show's big dramatic moment. I also hope they get rid of All By Myself for something new.

All by myself .. i am soooo done with that song. Put it in a safe and do not open it for the next ##years! Oh and if there is enough place in it, throw in love can move mountains in it as well!

Sorry but if she has to keep doing Prince I'd rather have her stay as is with Kiss & Purple Rain. I don't like WTT.

Me neither...but the opening song..that is the first that is got to go. All these covers. Why not surprise the audience with earlier songs that they might not even have heard before? What if the people love it?

It was his vision that started it, but I don’t think that even he would have envisioned this. Before she started her residency, Las Vegas was a bit of an elephants’ graveyard for artists -- they went there to die. I know the people at AEG and Caesars would tell you a lot of people thought they were crazy to make that deal and build that room. Now everybody wants a residency in Vegas. It’s unbelievable how that artist and that deal transformed the entire marketplace.

Yes, Vegas was one of the best decision she made. She was a pioneer and will always be the Queen of Vegas.
