it was a tribute , not something to stir up her popularity...it would be of bad taste and shameful in my opinion to use it this way.

celine is so brave not scared about how the world is so full of war, conflict and terror. just like her voice soaring and full of emotion and power she fights her way through the heartbreaking song. she would be scoping and gliding from not to note and turn her back from the audience. then she would be exploding on the last few lines, without conscious breathing but a cry for world peace and unity. her message conveyed matters. her singing matters. her performance matters. it was one of her best by far by the greatest voice and performer the world has ever known... from a small province comes a girl who would be singing for Paris... she matters and for that matter, the rest of the world too.

after listening to it many times, i don't notice the little glitchs, just the emotions. One of her best performance, she was totally her. She says it a lot in french

Vocally there was 1 or 2 small, but not that important things that were not on point, but whether that be down to, nerves, emotion or watever.... She was "that moment of the night" and it was a live performance.

 

It was a heartfelt, emotional, strong and dignified tribute... And no other artist could have done this better!

 

A moment in history that fans can be extremely proud of, just inspirational!

I agree but I think Celine might now be on a little well earned break....although I should think that she may venture into the studio in the next few weed to record some more tracks for her French album so you never know

Thank you so much! I couldn't understand many of the lyrics (like the word) because of the way they were sung. Because of my formal French teaching, many of the words now make sense becuase I have the English, and it's very moving now. So powerful!
