I saw a video from las vegas on facebook, the 17th of may. Is Celine having some time in between to rehearse for the europe tour?

I was listening to the studio version of Destin... lately I used to listen to the live version and... OMG this time the album version sounded so perfect to me. I mean I adore this song since I've bought the album but today it was better than ever and I realized it sounds a little like Moonlight Shadow by J.M. Jarre.... she should do a mash up with this song in her live shows... so glad she keeps on singing it in full in her concert but this would make a wekcome addition. Plus Moonlight Shadow is way better than most of her live covers and made history.

The rhythm and guitar riffs of Destin reminded me of this song today...maybe I'm wrong... what counts the most is that she surprises us with well sung concerts with new songs and new old songs from her albums...

Hi everyone, not sure if I am posting this in the right place. My wife bought 2 tickets to see Celine in Quebec on August 20 - the tickets are located in "Part D1 -VIP3". Unfortunately, I am not able to go and will be in Canada earlier in July.

 

I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to sell the tickets. I think I found some website where I could sell the tickets but the price seems to be way below the 499CAD we paid.

 

Any help would be interested.

Other than tour dates we have no other info.

We know that andre-philippe gagnon will be doing the first part.

 

You can expect a loooong list of her biggest hits (excluding TTWII) like all her other concerts for the past 15 yrs...

The anglophone songs, as of now, are:

• Medley: IACBTMN / TPOL

• All By Myself

• Medley: LCMM / RDMH

• MHWGO

• I'm Alive

• TSMGO

 

Additional info from the rehearsal setlist:

• Encore un soir is NOT opening the show, but is being rehearsed.

• L'hymne isn't on the setlist

• MHWGO will precede PQTME, which is the encore.

• There is a water feature in the show as of now, and may not be present at the Belgium and Paris shows.

 

EUS was rehearsed at the Colosseum before the show on May 24th.

 

Can't wait for June 20th now!

I can't wait to hear more!!! I know some people will complain about the English songs, but this is a FRANCOPHONE set list, so we'll have to just live with it! And a water feature? Interesting. Maybe it'll be something like a scaled down version of the one in Vegas?

I'm sorry, but I disagree. This tour is not about English songs, it's for the French people. They have to choose hits for these French tours, since they only do a few, so they have to appeal to the masses. I don't agree at all that she is far from an artist... She's in fact quite an artist. I don't see how you can assume that from a little rumor we've gotten. I'm sure she will expand more with her French songs, and explore more albums in that category, as this is an francophone tour. That's just my two cents.

It depends on what the other additions will be, hoping for a few surprises! Think I was slightly disappointed with the MHWGO /PQTME finale - IF it's true. Loved it when she ended on Le Miracle 😆

 

But yeah, please use spoilers if posting correct/official confirmation about the setlist etc on here 😊

There is only really one English song that "needs" to be part of a French tour - "My Heart Will Go On." (Heck, excluding "My Heart Will Go On" would actually show she has some balls and is willing to try something new to show an attempt at being artistic.) Everything else, especially the annoyingly tiresome "Love Can Move Mountains/River Deep Mountain High" medley are beyond unnecessary. If they want a big, bombastic, uptempo segment, "A cause" would work smashingly well.

 

How in the world can anyone say she is artistic and an artist when she does the same thing over and over again? There is no artistry there, only commercialism and complacency. True artists do things whether they will bring in money or not. You know, like performing songs that never went single and won't be the ones to always bring in the $$$. She talks all the time about all these great songs she's recorded and can't wait to perform and then never does it. Yet, she'll perform covers of songs that have been performed twenty billion times before by others: "What A Wonderful World," "At Last," "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and "Over The Rainbow," to name just a few. Furthermore, the woman doesn't even write most of her own material. Once she lays her vocals down, she has made it clear she is done. To call her an artist. even though she has this attitude. is that of calling someone an architect just because they picked their favorite paint color and trim work for a house. It takes more than just singing someone's demo work and leaving it to producers/mixers/engineers to do the rest to be considered an artist. However, if what little she does in the process is considered artistry to you, more power to ya. To me, she will always be an entertainer/performer. A damn amazing one. However, an artist she is not.

sorry don't say it's a French tour so only French songs count. Come on! If it's true it's the worst thing they could do as far as English songs are concerned. It's not only the same thing she has done since last year but also last time in Paris and overally since 2011 in Vegas?!

The only "new" elements are NOT so new at all. TSMGO will be lipped to the billboard live version.... The only song I'm happy about is IA but somehow I had a feeling they will choose it because during recent videos of IA from the Colosseum you could see how she makes the tour atmosphere around it.

she has done almost the same setlist during both TCWT and SA tour in Antwerp and in Paris. The funny thing is that she actually included MORE songs in general in Antwerp during both times

 

 

As for the English songs still, well nobody expects her to sing Right in front you or Thank you but they do have so many realistic songs to choose from. And they end up "choosing" the same songs all over again. That just shows how unimaginate they are.

I just want her to drop the two medleys for the tour. I'm fine with all the other songs. Those two medleys are overused and in my opinion, they don't work the same as they do in Vegas. The intimate setting of the Colosseum helps to capture the energy and visuals, but as seen on USF, it didn't work as well.

Why did i read these spoilers? Please Celine be more creative: why repeating these worn out songs over and over..tour after tour..again? This is a new show so why again these so called fanfavorites? Get rid of them once and for all please? And you may love lcmm so much. We don't..it has been sung way way to many times!

Anyway, I don't remember the exact source, but I saw on Facebook that Céline would perform 5 brand new songs from her upcoming french album (includind "Encore Un Soir" and "Ordinaire") + 3 covers ; "Hymne à l'Amour", "Avec le Temps" and "Je Suis Malade")

 

That's only rumours. But... This would be epic... and possible..

If we don't get a dvd for this tour I'm ok with it I just really want one of the residency. Since there are more english songs in that set list it would be the first "english" dvd since TC Tour in what was it 2009? 2010? Can't member exact year it was released. Though I suspect we might get this show filmed and atleast shown on tv
